Spurs Trade: Marvin Williams $14.09, UFA w/Player O
Quincy Acy $0.25
Good deal, Acy put heart into every start he got last year. We will miss you. I’ve got the cap room to take on this contract and it will be a boost in production. Gives me more options with the squad.

I accept.
Finally dealt one of these guys, will crunch the numbers when i get home but I should be good to resign Capela and move forward now. Plus, I actually like Acy, have owned him at several points... He'll never earn consistent enough minutes to matter in fantasy, but the guy's a good player, and we all know I've got a soft spot for under the radar per-minute studs.
Anyway, nice dealing, thanks for reaching out hornets, hope Marvin makes a difference for you this year.

APV, agree with Bulls could have just signed someone better in free agency but it's only a one year deal anyways.

Y'all are being a bit harsh, it's highly unlikely he could've signed anyone significant for under $15M... Plus, Marvin's guaranteed to play big minutes and he averaged like 25 fppg just two years ago; Howard's presence really limited his chances last year, and that big doofus is gone now. He's struggled with fantasy-production consistency his whole career, but he has the potential to be a difference maker, even if he doesn't make that kind of impact he'll still be an asset.
Obviously i HAD to say yes to a deal like this, but i don't think hornets did badly at all, particularly given how free agency usually goes in here. Only time will tell, but i would've added to the deal if i thought it was unfair to him, especially in a situation where he's basically saving my ass... All of which is to say, i think you did just fine here, hornets, ignore the haters

disagree, you can get someone along marvin's value for under 15M in FA w some luck. i dont think its bad at all for hornets, surprised he opted to take on cap and an older player, no one does that here anymore.
