Wow, when I first heard this rumor, I completely dismissed it. Wade has spurned us so many times in FA and he's from Chicago but you wouldn't know with it. I also thought it made zero sense as we need to rebuild. But apparently the plan is to have Rondo Wade Butler and lure FA's here next year. It's exciting, if anything. Holy fuck tho Rondo Butler Wade? none of em can shoot except Butler a little lol fuck we needa keep Dougie McBuckets and Mirotic.
Not completely sure how I feel about it but I think all in all this is going to turn out better than sticking with Rose, as much as it pains me to admit it.
Still a chance he says he plans to sign with the Bulls just so Miami ups its offer, I could see it.

Wade's career is winding down, he hasn't been able to stay healthy for several years now, and Rondo is talented but he's a journeyman with a bad reputation for a reason, plus he's getting older himself... Not sure how this is supposed to lure other FA, honestly. I'd be irritated that your fave garpax are trying to delay the inevitable if I were a bulls fan.
Hope that bursts your bubble, Chuck, or at least dents it, that would please me greatly.

I think some playoff appearances aren't out of the question though. I'm calling it now though.... 2 years from now LeBron Wade CP3 and Melo are all FA's.... I think they finish up in New York. you heard it here first it's in the works.

I share your worry of 3-point shooting. With Rondo/Wade out there together, Butler is going to have to continue to work at the 3pointer this offseason. That's also a hyper athletic starting 3 though. Mirotic, McDermott will be super valuable to their spacing, as long as they don't just turn into the role players like Cleveland 3-point shooters. Robin Lopez is going to be a beast, and Portis will most certainly get some run. Chemistry issues aside (which there will most certainly be a lot), Rondo and Wade have such a dark past but will probably put some of it aside to win. We talked about this before but Chicago isn't a city to rebuild, they like to stay competitive even in their down years, which I admire, especially in this new landscape. My final thought that should be kept in mind when looking at this team: Jimmy Butler could still be traded.
