Honest to god, this makes me sad. I previously stated in my last veto that I hoped rockets would use this as an opportunity to get a better package with maybe another solid asset or at least take out rondo. But instead he didnt listen and continues to get pummled and bent over a god dam barrel. I really didnt want to veto again but some people just never learn. I want rockets to be successful and I hope he takes this as a lesson that he can get more from arguably the best fantasy player this year in the league. Stop settling for sub par packages and dont be afraid to turn someone down just because a prior deal didnt go through.
Veto 0-1

Approve again. Only approving, because i don't think it ruins Rockets team, or the balance of league, but i do feel like a new owner is somewhat being taken advantage of. Hopefully this will be a learning lesson for him. Like why is Rondo even being included?

“nuggetsgm24: i wouldnt be as mad if it didnt affect me, but if TJ wins and rockets loses this week it changes who I play in the first round. I actually might lose now in the first round of the playoffs due to injuries which at first i was not too worried about rockets team because he sucks” -from league chat
Lol leave your bias and emotions out of this.

I know what that sounds like Rockets and truly so respect you for sticking to your guns and having the sack to make your own decision. But I can honestly tell you all these guys are just looking out for you. This is about to be our third year in this league and we had the same league before for another six. So we've seen the exact type of trades like this happen and then owners realize it later have a bad team quit and then it's impossible to find an owner for a barren team. This trade could end up working out if Allen and Monk become could but what I can almost guarantee is that you could have gotten more from another team in the off season. Whether it be more in terms of picks in this loaded draft or more actual talent. Kevin is 13-0 and I think he's more upset with the fact that while you're on here you're leaving 100 points in the bench in Boogie. The guys 13-0. Anyways just hope you see that they (and me) are not out to get you and really just trying to look out for league as a whole. Also if we could get more votes that'd be great. I'm gonna get more replacement voters for Knicks.

Can I hop on the trade committee? I'd veto this one myself but just using hindsight I would prefer not to have traded Draymond Green the way I did. I think I'm slowly learning the league's ins and outs.

That was quick. I veto as well, that New Orleans pick is also at the very end of the draft so it isn't like your getting the blue chip prospect of the draft (most likely). 1-3

i know you guys are gonna get mad at me for commenting on this but i don't care cause honestly i think this is bullshit. Ive seen trades like Fultz for Jokic go through. or Lebron for De'Aron Fox and Deng (Whens the last time he played in a game?) for LEBRON JAMES go through the best player on this plant and oh by the way James averages more FPG then cousins. Y'all are acting like this trade that was agree upon is absolutely garbage. But i look at those trades that i previously stated and ask my self HOW IS THIS NOT FAIR. Schroder averages have went up each year (20pgg 6.6ast 3rebs) this year) he's has been in the league and he still only 24 years old and has a lot of growth in his game to go, but he has proved to be a all star level point guard.(Don't believe me just compare his numbers to Kyle Lowry who made it) Point being that Schroder alone is putting up way better numbers then fultz or Fox and schroder has just as much potential as them to be a superstar. Then Monk and Allen were both top 15 picks in our draft last year and still have great upside and both are only 19 years old that 2 highly rated prospects... Then y'all shit on the picks like they don't have any value.. Just go check out or rookie draft and see were guys like Jordan Bell, Kyle Kozma,Dillion Brooks,Josh Hart, were picked at.(Late 1st-Begin 2nd) which is exactly were the pick will be at. Might not get star player in that area of the draft but you can still find quality rotation guys. WE BOTH AGREE TO THIS TRADE TWICE SO OBVIOUSLY WE BOTH FOUND IT BENEFICIAL TO BOTH OUR TEAMS.Sorry i just look at other trade that got passed with WAY less value talent given up.Just fill like I'm getting fucked especially when people who were shiting on the rockets then get to vote on his trade.

That's cuz people are too scared to veto sometimes, wanting to let people run their item teams and Chase their favorite players, which i get but c'mon... Go back and look at my comments on the LBJ trade, honestly you're right in that it was even worse than this one, but that doesn't change the fact that this is a veto.
You just cannot give a top player like Boogie (or LBJ) without getting an elite asset back, it never works, especially not in this league. I like Schroder, but this could all too easily turn into Schroder and several piles of shit for Boogie, plus Rondo... I mean, i think Rondo's soon to be done in the NBA, and i like Allen, and it's still an easy veto

For the record, the Lebron trade is still different because he makes almost twice as much as boogie and is past his prime. If you want I'll swap Lebron for boogie if you end up getting this passed.

that trade shouldve been vetoed as should this. Suns essentially your trying to argue that even tho this deal is horrid, horrid deals have passed before, so this should. Well, good to know you think the trade is awful too. for the record that LeBron shit was 3-0 and passed before i even saw it. and uh Boogie is 30 times more valuable than LBJ at this point in a dynasty. There's the argument where no one wants LeBron around here because of his age and contract so it's tough to deal him. which i can see but yeah that deal was BS as well.

Look Suns i get it, i honestly do. We've all been in your position before. We as a TC aren't perfect and have passed some trades that in hindsight maybe shouldn't have been passed, but that doesn't now that every trade should be passed if it's better than some other deal that' been passed. We are trying to prevent that from happening. The bottom line is the best player you're giving him averaged 20 less points than Boogie. On top of that he's also dealing Rondo. As a TC we're just voting from a value standpoint, he's not getting close to enough. I know it's frustrating but you're not gonna change anyone's mind by arguing on here. You still have a great shot make a great trade before the deadline hits so i would suggest adjusting, so we can get this all approved before the deadline.

Try not going MIA for months, also ive been in the playoffs every year here expect 1 so yeah Approve, Great Deal!!!“ You still approved that fucking deal man so your credibility just went out the door imo nah I’m arguing that there needs to be consistency from the TC when it comes to voting on deals. When I first joined this league you guys were all about how valueable it is to have great young prospects. So i make a deal involving a lot on talented young prospects and draft picks and get shitted on for it. That all I’m arguing. Sorry I base my trade value off of other deals that I see get passed in this league so like I said that’s were the consistency needs to come from. Now I have no idea what my young players are worth cause you guys have pretty much changed your minds and said young prospect don’t mean much..you need superstars to complete big time trades.

Yeah it was 3-0 and that was posted as pretty much a joke. ive never put a ton of value on players that aren't proven yet either. it's okay to trade older or good players for young prospects and trying to rebuild. But DeMarcus Cousins? guys the #1 player in the league probably.
