I agree. Giving up a lot of my young talent but cousins is a player that i think is worthy of giving up this amount of talent for. ill have enough cap space to take on the cap hit for resigning him. Ill also have a high 1st round pick this year to find a player to pair him with for the future. This is just another step in my rebuild and hope i can somewhat compete sooner then later.

I accept, I’ve been in talks to trade Cousins since I joined. I wanted to cash in on expiring contracts and I got two first round picks from last years draft and a young experienced PG in Schroeder who has a solid set role in Atlanta. Plus a quality 2nd for acquiring a new prospect, good dealing with you Suns for my first trade

Approve but this is as close as you can get to a veto.
I think owners are just going to have to learn the hard way. When you deal a top 5 player you've and the best player you get back is a be a fringe top 75 guy, you better be getting a lotto or something. I mean come on. It's not vetoable because Schroeder, but it's damn close. Monk is not built for this league and i think Suns realized that, and Allen has potential but we're talking Boogie. Also Rockets set your lineup man. Props to Suns for working this out, this is no doubt a franchise changing move.

yall realize this is DeMarcus Cousins right? top 3 player in the the league? Like Pels deals were stupid asf and fuck but this is worse man. new owner... first trade... this is god awful. i cant approve this when i vetoed previous deals. i dunno know i want people to run their own teams and im totally for the ideal but this might be one of the worst deals ive ever seen.
ill just hold my vote lol

Schroder is good for around 30pts. Allen is a great prospect who’s upside is similar to Clint capela.. and monk is gonna get more opportunity to shine especially if the hornets trade kemba like they are looking to.. and the second is gonna be like pick 32 or so. Not to mention Ima have to take a 27 mill cap hit at least to resign cousins... I mean if I look back at history you approved a trade that was Fultz for jokic.. Fultz doesn’t even look like he know how to shoot a basketball.. and jokic is the second best fantasy center on an amazing contract. |

Ok Fultz hasn't been fully healthy and his upside is enormous. Like i get it you want the trade to pass i've been in your shoes a thousand times but this deal is utter garbage. i gotta ask tho why is Rondo even in the deal? That package isn't worth Cous alone and then you add in more? Granted Rondo ain't worth much anymore but hes still solid and good for a big game here and there. But see that's another expiring deal rockets could trade for a 1st.
trust me i want every deal to pass, some things need to be said though so we dont end up w teams that have zero value on them.

I'm all for a trade committee. but there should be consistency when it comes to voting on trades and i believe I'm giving up way more in this cousins trade then what was given up in the jokic trade. Look, if Rockets pretended like he cared about his team (like setting his lineup) then I would approve this because I would trust him enough to let him create the team the way he wants. That being said, he just left 100 damn points on the bench by not setting his lineup so I have no reason to believe he has the best interest of this team at heart.
Rockets, I want to let you run this team, but you've gotta pretend that you care bro. You're in the playoffs if you win yet you failed to set your lineups. Without Rondo this trade is barely fair, with Rondo I'd barely pass it (with Caleb's explanation) with an active owner, but as it stands I'm vetoing this deal.

Is that why the lakers had Ball rated over Fultz and why the celtics decided to trade down and take tatum instead of fultz. But i guess if rondo was not involved it would be at least passable. But still take the TC advice and try to get alot more bro.
