Alright so this is gonna be an issue again apparently. I recently looked at pels last lineups and he's been starting shit players over obvious better options. Now we have a rule for tanking but nothing for benching good players for bad players. I say we change that. Allowing teams to do this and obtain good picks when their already solid teams hurts the comp balance of the league. Your also a fucking pussy pelicans and need to get your vag checked out for doing this cuz who the fuck actually does this.

I'd like to post again just to say how bitch made you are, bitch becuz this is ridiculous. Bryan's not setting his lineup but at least he's not intentionally playing bad players over good players. Both are wrong, pelicans is just insanely wrong and fuck him.

So talking to pelicans further, hes gonna do this until there's a rule for it. We actually have to tell owners to play their best players im done.

I mentioned this during the offseason. We should just have a clear ruling on this. Avoids irritation.

What he is doing isn't is as bad as keeping every player out of the lineup. One thing is easily correctible (aka is someone at least checking their lineup), but after that gets solved we can come up with a solution of benching one's best players.

Is there a way to add up season's points totals? Maybe out of all non-playoff teams, the highest odds for the #1 pick could be given to the team with the highest total fantasy points. It isn't a great solution by any means, but you can be sure #1 teams will check their lineups and #2 there is an emphasis on not only playing guys every night, but trying to play your best ones. Afterall, putting a guy in your fantasy lineup wouldn't lead to an injury.

Switched in Gorat for tonight seeing as Kevin said Caleb is gonna have an official ruling on this by tonight. As i said, I dont have anything against a league where everyone uses their best players every day, but all teams should do it and there should be a clear ruling and fines for when a team fails to do so.

Just posted this in chat and not sure if its too complicated, but for the best players thing we could do maybe something like a tribunal. aka, you can get accused of purposely playing a worse player and then a jury of 5 or so decides wether or not you had some ground to play player a over b
So basically anyone could nominate another team for failing to comply with the best player rule and then the tribunal votes. Punishment would be like being moved 1 spot down in the draft order or something.
Dunno, just thinking out loud here.

Yeah there needs to just be a rule that you can't do stuff like this, too hard to make it super specific, should just be a "you're obviously trying to lose, stop it or you'll get kicked" type rule. Raps' idea is really good, and variations of it work quite well for smaller redraft/keeper leagues, but i don't think it would serve the best interests of this league... Too hard for those truly bad teams to put up points and get a good enough draft pick to improve.
All that said, y'all can't fault pels for trying this. Personally i do think it's pussy shit, but it's deeply embedded in the nature of our society to take any advantage you can, morals and pride be damned. He'd be a great cutthroat corporate capitalist business type guy. At least he hasn't tried to deny it, or whined and bitched, he's been totally respectful and professional about it.

Kobe could have won more those last few seasons if he didn't take the biggest paycheck in the league!
Anyways let's build off something concrete an put something in place STAT.

Also would have won more if he'd been able to set aside his ridiculous ego for one fucking second and stopped trying to act like he was god's gift to basketball... That last "farewell tour" season was fucking pathetic, but really it applies to his whole career. Something Manu had no problem doing, incidentally. Sent from my Pixel using proboards

Bitching? It's a known fact you don't give a flying fuck about setting your roster whether your players score 3 pts or 30 pts. Your basically only here because it'd be impossible to find someone to take that train wreck of a "team". Augustin is healthy again so you can start moving him in and out of your lineup, if that's too hard lmk.
That Trey Burke signing was huge 8M was a steal.
