Raptors receive:
Jaylen Brown 5m, 5.2m, 6.5m
Willy Hernangomez 1.4m, 1.5m, 1.5m
Utah Jazz 2019 1st round pick (Protections on Boston 2018 1st are now lifted with this transaction)
Celtics accept. I've been after a big piece to go with Markelle and Josh Jackson, and Draymond certainly fits the billing. I have a lot of cap that'll open up next summer, so basically i will go into next summer with the core 3 of Dray, Markelle and Josh and have a boat load of assets to use the same way i did this summer. Theoretically i could end up with these 3 and someone like Luka Doncic before Free Agency hits next summer, and have about 60-70m to spend. It might seem like it's a "go for it now" move from my point of view, but it's the opposite. I want to build a lasting contender and I cannot do it by signing PJ Tucker and Willie Reed.
Good dealing with you Raptors, love this trade for your team. I think it'll really help both in the long run

No but this is a trade that needed to happen eventually. If jaylen reaches Harrison barnes fantasy production after a few years then I'll be happy. And i get hermangomez back. Call me crazy but I still want to make the playoffs. Lastly the way Steven A Smith bashed Kwame Brown after LA traded him to Philly is how I feel about trading draymond. All-star for the duration of his contract but a grade A fuck boi.

Yikes, highway robbery imo. Nice move Yacob. I thought the Raps had a chance at a top 4 seed in the East but the Gortat and Dray moves have been questionable. Brown and hernangomez are very nice young pieces though.
Pass but don't like t for Raps.

veto... like don't even know what to say Yacob I'm sorry dawg but this isn't even close imo. Dray is an absolute stud and I don't see Jaylen or Hernagomez ever coming close.

I really like what I see from jaylen brown and even with a busy roster over in Boston I still think he can carve out solid minutes and produce. Hernangomez while he might not be the best C, he is on a shitty Knicks team and will get plenty of playing time to develop his skills. Draymond obviously is a nice piece to have on a team and I obviously think C's got the better side of this deal, but I can see the value that raptors saw. I probably wouldnt have done it if I was raptors, but I think it could maybe work out.
