Grizzlies Trade:
Joel Embiid 6.1m Marquese Chriss 3.07 Kris Dunn 4.05
Lakers Trade
Paul George 19.5m Willie Cauley Stein 3.7m Frank Ntilikina 3.5m Lakers cover 30% of George contract
Accept. Nice dealing Lakers
I wanted to use Embiid to get a wing that I can hopefully rely on to score. With multiple bigs on the roster already, it was time to turn one around. Both PGs come with risk and upside. This deal gives me the NYK future and hopefully they hit on this pick like they did with Zinger. i love the upside WCS can bring to fantasy leagues and think he's going to get the chance to breakout with Cousins out.
Nice dealing Lakers.

Approve
As much as it hurts to rid of PG, I have always trusted the process and continue to do so now. I think Chriss is going to make a jump this year, as well as Dunn playing a fair amount of minutes on a young Bulls team. Also, the contracts they are on was a cherry on top to getting those players in return. Pleasure doing business with the Grizzlies

Decent deal for both sides, Luke loses upside but gains reliability. WCS looked nice last year and should be better. Chriss is also rising so Lakers did well to get good value for George.
Frank and Dunn are career backups in the NBA

Pass. I like Embiid/Chriss more than PG/WCS, especially given contracts, and Ntilikina/Dunn have about equal value in my book (although Dunn will probably score better in the near future), so i like it for Lakers. Definitely more reliable scoring and less injury risk on grizz's side, though, can't hate on that. Nice deal fellas.

Y'all do need to post what their contracts look like beyond this season, though, everyone should know that by now...
