Here's my philosophy: those picks are all prospects that have less of a chance at being an impact player as Jaylen. Eric Gordon is a solid SG, could get a pick for him if i wanted. Free agency is where i do my work, or i can absorb bad contracts to gain assets that are every bit as valuable as i gave for a kid who has better odds of really helping me win in Jaylen. So really i'm unloading what i hoarded, and now FA allows to hoard again.
I've also seen literally every possession of Jaylen's NBA career, so this isn't just throwing shit away on a hunch. I know him very well and you can laugh all you want, but right now he's Boston's 2nd best player. Young, controllable basketball blue bloods. This is the only way out of the basement.

Given that second rounders in this league really have very little value, this is essentially Bender and two firsts for Gordon, KJM, Brown, and one more distant first. Which is horribly one-sided IMO, but not so terrible that I think it should be vetoed, particularly not when I'm kinda high on Bender long-term. Therefore, pass, and well done yacob, though I'm kinda mystified on why you're selling all your picks when you have such a high opinion of your own ability to measure pre-professional talent.

Sent from my Pixel using proboards Because I've learned that talent in the NBA doesn't matter all that much, it's circumstance. Abdel Nader is probably a better basketball player than both Jaylen Brown and Terry Rozier, yet because he's 22 and from a weird school he played in the D-League and may or may not ever get a shot to play NBA basketball. Marcus Keene is one of the 25 most talented guards off the dribble that actively plays basketball in the world, at least that i've seen, but again weird school, old and short. Teams don't pick best players. They pick the best possible outcomes, which makes this process impossible for me to actually use what i've been taught from a scouting perspective.

Repost the trade so that it just gets processed after the draft?
