So, I figured it would be neat to look back on this in a year, two years, three years etc to see how accurate we are with our predictions. A lot of times we seem to think we liked a certain guy maybe two years ago but this can be a place for some credibility
Lets see:
Who do y'all have for: After year 1
Biggest bust: Lottery: Kennard Biggest bust: Top 5: Lonzo Most valued picks outside of 1st overall: (most valued in parentheses); Two more picks to be included; 3 total: (Smith, Mitchell, Bam)
The Isaiah Thomas award: Best 2nd round pick: Thornwell The Manu Ginobili award: Best FA or 2nd round pick (International) Bolden
Most likely to become an All-Star: Smith Rookie of the Year: Year 1: Smith
Most likely Rookie to make the Rookie/Sophomore game outside of lotto: (Had one last yr: Brogdon): John Collins
Pick one player not listed that will out do his draft spot by yr 2: TJ Leaf
MAKE ONE BOLD PREDICTIONS IN REGARDS TO THE 2017 DRAFT CLASS: TJ Leaf will be a better pro prospect than Lonzo Ball
Player comparisons:
Smith vs Ntiliikina (Best PG): Smith Fox vs Ball (Pts + Assist - Turnovers): Fox Fultz vs Jackson (Best chance to be ROY at all star break (Vegas): + Will 1 of the 2 win ROY) (Should Jackson have been #1?) Fultz, No Tatum vs Isaac (Best prospect going into yr 2) Issac Giles (Games Played) vs Markkanen (3's made divided by 2) Mark Patton vs Allen (Will either be considered top Big Man in the draft: Pick if Yes) (Most blocks + rebounds)Patton Kennard vs Monk (Most 3's) (Most total Points) Monk J Collins vs Z Collins (Better Collins prospect) J Collins Bam vs J Bell vs Swanigan (Better steal on draft night) Bam

Biggest bust: Lottery: Markennen Biggest bust: Top 5: Ball Most valued picks outside of 1st overall: Monk at 11 The Isaiah Thomas award: Best 2nd round pick: Bell The Manu Ginobili award: Best FA or 2nd round pick (International): Bolden
Most likely to become an All-Star: Markelle Fultz Rookie of the Year: Markelle Fultz
Most likely Rookie to make the Rookie/Sophomore game outside of lotto: (Had one last yr: Brogdon): John Collins
Pick one player not listed that will out do his draft spot by yr 2: Hartenstein
Player comparisons:
Smith vs Ntiliikina (Best PG) Smith i'd hope Fox vs Ball (Pts + Assist - Turnovers) Ball Fultz vs Jackson (Best chance to be ROY at all star break (Vegas): + Will 1 of the 2 win ROY) (Should Jackson have been #1?) Fultz should be #1. Tatum vs Isaac (Best prospect going into yr 2) easily Tatum Giles (Games Played) vs Markkanen (3's made divided by 2) Giles Patton vs Allen (Will either be considered top Big Man in the draft: Pick if Yes) (Most blocks + rebounds) Patton over Allen. Kennard vs Monk (Most 3's) (Most total Points) Monk more both J Collins vs Z Collins (Better Collins prospect) John Bam vs J Bell vs Swanigan (Better steal on draft night) Bam was reached on if anything imo, Swanigan was about right, Bell shoulda been mid 20s...so Bell was best value imo

Biggest bust: Lottery: Markkanen (come on this is a given) Biggest bust: Top 5: Jackson (the guy can play defense but can't shoot) Most valued picks outside of 1st overall: Monk at 11 (I have no idea why he dropped this far)
The Isaiah Thomas award: Mason III The Manu Ginobili award: Bolden
Most likely to become an All-Star: Fultz Rookie of the Year: Fultz
Most likely Rookie to make the Rookie/Sophomore game outside of lotto: (Had one last yr: Brogdon): Giles (I BELIEVE)
Pick one player not listed that will out do his draft spot by yr 2: Ojeleye if he ever gets out of Boston
Player comparisons:
Smith vs Ntiliikina (Best PG) Smith. Smith would have to be absolutely dreadful for Ntilikina to outplay him. Fox vs Ball (Pts + Assist - Turnovers) Fox. I think Fox'll fill the box score more but Ball will be the more efficient player. Fultz vs Jackson (Best chance to be ROY at all star break (Vegas): + Will 1 of the 2 win ROY) (Should Jackson have been #1?) Fultz over Jackson absolutely. Jackson can't shoot. Tatum vs Isaac (Best prospect going into yr 2) Tatum but I like Isaac better long term. Giles (Games Played) vs Markkanen (3's made divided by 2) Giles. Patton vs Allen (Will either be considered top Big Man in the draft: Pick if Yes) (Most blocks + rebounds) Neither. Kennard vs Monk (Most 3's) (Most total Points) Monk. J Collins vs Z Collins (Better Collins prospect) Zach Collins. Bam vs J Bell vs Swanigan (Better steal on draft night) Swanigan. I think Adebayo went too early and Bell kinda went where he should go.

The Isaiah Thomas award: Best 2nd round pick: Jordan Bell The Manu Ginobili award: Best FA or 2nd round pick (International): None of them will be good this year, but if you hold a gun to my head...Isaiah Hartenstein
Most likely to become an All-Star: Markelle Fultz Rookie of the Year: Year 1: Dennis Smith Jr.
Most likely Rookie to make the Rookie/Sophomore game outside of lotto: (Had one last yr: Brogdon): Jarrett Allen
Pick one player not listed that will out do his draft spot by yr 2: Derrick White
MAKE ONE BOLD PREDICTIONS IN REGARDS TO THE 2017 DRAFT CLASS: Markkanen isn't a total bust, averages double digit points his rookie year

Cheers to Grizzlies GM (Royce) and myself for mentioning Donovan Mitchell last yr. Bam exceeded expectations--- at least by the accounts of some on here along with Lauri who was picked as bust I think Kennard was also underwhelming as predicted John Collins makes the Rookie team for All Star week-- Kyle Kuzma & Dillon Brooks too

Yo I got Markenen prediction right and def Jordan Bell was a steal too
Also Semi played a decent role for Boston
I might have been a bit heavy on Fox tho
