Grizzlies GM (Royce) and Josh like this

I won't have a top pick, so here ya'll go. To be honest, i've spent an embarrassing amount of time and research on this and sadly have 71 kids in order and there's like 7 who dont have enough film to even draw conclusions from, the most interesting being a 7'2 black guy named Bako or something.
Some of these you might notice i've been deliberately under hyping due to trying to get a top 7 pick, but that dream is gone So i'll give you the real deal opinions
1. Jayson Tatum. He's been my top guy since I started ''scouting'' the class, Caleb can confirm if he remembers. His footwork on the mid range postup things where he starts back to and then turns around at crazy speed to release the shot is amazing to watch from a 19 year old. He reminds me of the mid 2000's scoring machines i grew up watching, his mid range game is usually compared to Melo or Pierce but in reality he's CLEARLY copying 3 people: Kobe, Lebron and Dirk. The advanced iso skills at 19 with that level of size\quickness is demonstratively unfair against almost all defenses. Holding out hope Boston grabs him at 3. Ultimately in 2017, i'm looking for a guy who can create his own scoring from all 3 levels and at 6'8, Tatum can get a shot over guys. People overrate PG's soooooo much, just a secret between you and i.
2. Josh Jackson. I scored him higher than Tatum in the first step of my process, but Tatum has such an advanced skill set at a yearish younger that his floor is starter where Jackson's floor is Stanley Johnson perhaps for all we know. Jackson TODAY is, in my humble estimation, the most ready to contribute to the most teams. But by year 2, i think Tatum and Fultz show that they're better to build around because they can create for themselves in end of game situations, Jackson simply cant unless he gets downhill.
3. Markelle Fultz. I definitely wanted him in Boston really bad. His polish and nuance at age 19 is something I have seen in 1 other kid, and that was Kyrie Irving. Markelle reminds me of 3 guards: James Harden, Manu Ginobili and Chris Paul. He has Harden's changeup ability, Manu's whipping proby style thats herky jerky enough to always be unpredictable, and compact improvisation where 5 moves turn into 1 motion like CP3 is touted for. The kid is a fucking phenom with the ball in his hands. Questions for me are actual shooting range, mechanics, ability to make others better and also not sure exactly how good of a finisher in traffic he'll be. But there's that 1 percent chance he turns into a Harden CP3 mutation.
4. Dennis Smith jr. Just another good point guard from North Carolina. His skill level is basically the same as Fultz, but Markelle is bigger and a better pnr pg right now. Markelle also has a higher perceived ceiling due to mostly size. I feel like either Dallas or New York is gonna get a massive steal with this one. If Phil takes Ntilikina over Smith, then he's definitely trying to get fired.
5. Malik Monk. This kid is dope. Last SG prospect this good was who? Beal? Booker? Idk...I think Monk is gonna surprise people with how good for the NBA he'll be. He's athletic and can flat out score. Size holds him out of top five imo in real draft.
6. Lonzo Ball. Honestly, I really like Lonzo and believe he's a very intelligent kid on and off the floor. His defense is very underrated. Best passer in college i've ever seen and that's for real he's that good. But there are monstrous holes i see. First, he passes like an elite point forward. In other words he's an open floor, skip pass type kinda like LBJ and Simmons mold, problem is he's a point guard. UCLA ran a weird offense that was designed to blaze zones, so i'm just not sure what happens when he runs a pick and roll against DJ and Cp3 or Klay and Dray. Second red flag is inability to score within the flow of a half court NBA offense, it's not practical when your pg can only score 25 feet away from the hoop. They'll just blitz the fuck out of this kid if he doesn't get more scoring variance, which takes away his passing lanes. Its game over if that happens. Idk maybe he's just unique so i dont yet understand his game?
7. Jon Isaac. I have a polar opposite view on him than most. Mostly you hear he's boom or bust, but i think he has the 5th best ''floor'' in the draft but only the 12th best ''potential''. Jon is a versatile, modern day NBA 3 and D player with small ball 4 or even 5 length. He's kinda like Anunoby except Isaac is definitely a usable NBA player, OG is more of an idea of what could be. I think he's a bigger version of MKG\Crowder with a jumper that's probably somewhere between the two, which isn't exactly incredible. He's a nice piece, but not a building block imo.
8. Justin Patton. The best way i could describe Patton is like Embiid as a junior in high school. Grizz compared him to Myles Turner, which is the actual intelligent comp. He's raw as fuck but his developing skills are very 2017. That alone is worth a flier.
9. De'Aaron Fox. Sometimes i seriously don't understand NBA scouts. His skill foundation is at a Junior in high school ranked in the 150 range type of level, but his athleticism makes him a streaky major conference college pg. Sounds like a typical Sacramento pick.
10. John Collins. If Patton is like Embiid at age 17, then Collins is Towns at 17. Or as i call him, "black Willy Hernangomez''. No further explanation required.
2 kids i have at 11 and 12 are second rounders. Both first names begin with J.
