Accept. He fits timeline well and I’ll have him through the remainder of his 20s on a cost-controlled contract. I already have 5 2025 firsts so I’m ok giving up a second rounder for this deal.
In order to make salary for this move, the Kings will be cutting Klay Thompson and taking a 50% cap hit of $8.25 million this season and $4.125 cap hit next season.
