Fellas, after a full year of trying to get a trade done with the Pelicans, ANYTHING, we have finally completed a blockbuster move: Toronto trades: 2017 2nd round pick, 2018 2nd round pick. Pelicans trade: Zhou Qi I don't think Qi is NBA ready at all, but I also don't want to draft after my fellow Celtics in the 2nd round because I guarantee he'll take the prospects I'm looking at I also like Qi's character and am happy to wait for him to suit up one day for the Rockets (thus boosting jersey sales and marketing for the entire country of China). Pelicans temporarily clears up a roster spot and has a shot at two middle / late round prospects.

I accept, I think Qi has a shot to come over to the NBA within the next two years so I kinda like him, but getting some more picks might give me flexibility to move up in the draft when the time Comes.

Pass. Qi imo isn't an NBA caliber talent but when you're 7'2 with 7'7 wings, you can weigh 215 lbs and have a mid major skill level. Worth a flier nonetheless if HOU sees something in him, Daryl Morey can spot talent
