Steve trading 2 1sts for Lavine 3 months ago only to get this in return feels like bad business.
I think Sood could've been more patient here, but there's no denying Lavine's upside as a mid 30 FPG guy if he can get there again so I get the move

Approve. Was poking around on Lavine to see if I could dumpster dive. Maybe there’s some juice in the tank. Think Steve does well here to get near comparable median production and free up cap and get a pick. Don’t hate the swing by sood either, but I’d probably have kept the first and decent contract and spent this cap in FA. Could work out fine though.

Pass, love for kings, don't see enough likely production difference to justify $10M more in cap space and a first. Maybe lavine proves me wrong but I doubt it, feels like his peak has come and gone
