I do not understand this for pelicans really at all. I don’t think jerami plays much this year and his contract irl is untradeable. Tons of risk taking him on. I’d rather just stick with Wiggins and hope klay moving on helps him. I think it’s a smart ish move by Peltz but still doesn’t solve his issue of a lot of dead. God this deal is so nasty when my eyes look at it they burn. APPROVE

I needed to make this trade in order to free up cap to re-sign Maxey andPick 26 this year. 57 and 59 are Throwaways - I was going to forgo those picks Most likely. I’m so limited in cap I wouldn’t be able to sign them. Getting rid of the Brooklyn 2026 second hurts, Especially after Andre traded KD But it’s a price I’m willing to pay for 8 million in Salary cap. While Andrew Wiggins is one year younger than Grant, I am unsure of his role with the warriors and I’m not willing to wait for him to get traded in real life. I like grants role on the Blazers and while their fantasy points per game can easily reverse this year compared to last, it’s a risk I’m willing to take given I can now resign Maxey and my first rounder. Grants contract being 2 million more expensive next year and onward doesn’t bother me as much as I will have melton expiring and hopefully a salary cap increase.

Approve. Johnny needs cap so I get it somewhat, but that Grant contract after this year is gonna be so icky and will be even harder for him to move. Like it for 76ers somewhat, but also don't think Wiggins will ever be worth that salary either so this really isn't a big win for him either. Meh for Meh.
