1. Lonzo Ball - The kid has all the tools to be an elite PG in this league. If you don't agree just ask LaVar. But seriously he has everything you could ask for in a future guard, the Length, Vision, Handles. I hear people questioning his ability to score at the next level but he has one of the most lethal jumpers in the game with the ability to get to the cup anytime he wants. His confidence is unmatched and I believe that also makes him the most dangerous to break out as a star in this league.
2. Josh Jackson - My favorite player in the entire draft and the only other potential superstar talent the draft has to offer. Hands down the best two way player in the draft and jump out of the gym athleticism. I believe he will take slightly more time to develop than Ball, but his ceiling is just as high in my opinion. If he keeps his act together off the court I see him as the easy number 2 guy in this draft.
3. Jayson Tatum - The draft gets a tad bit interesting from this point on but at the 3 spot I got one of the most explosive athletes in the draft. His unique skill set to handle the ball for a big man combined with his strength and surprising ability to shoot the jumper made him virtually unguardable at Duke and I expect him to fill out even more and carry that to the next level.
4. Markelle Fultz - Ok so I wanted to be bold and stick to my guns and drop him outside the top 5 but even if he is a bust like I believe him to be, Fultz has just too much upside reward if his flashes of greatness aren't just an illusion as I foresee them to be. In a fantasy world hes worth the risk. As well as his measureables are probably the best of anyone in the draft.
5. Dennis Smith - Another one of my favorites as he had the ability to post up big point totals on any given night at NC State. Especially in big games as I found out first hand when he posted 32 against my blue devils, as well as dropping 27 against the national champion tar heels. His only defect is his jump shot which he will need to develop as a true ball dominant PG. Also note I believe he will develop into a much better player than the kid listed above him.
6. De'Aaron Fox - I wasn't as high on Fox until I watched his game against the Bruins lead by Lonzo Ball where he seemed virtually unstoppable and outplayed the number one guy on my list. He seems to me as one of the lowest risk guys in the draft as I feel like what you see now is about what youre gonna get not much more and most likely not less. The fact that he plays PG is what gives him the slight edge in my opinion over the next guy.
7. Malik Monk - When this guy is on the court it is must see TV. Knew he was something special from the first time I watched him play when he posted 40+ on the tar heels including the game winner. listed at 6'3 but plays like hes 6'8 as he plays above the rim more than any other guard in the draft. Highest ceiling aside from the top 2 guys on this list.
8. Lauri Markkanen - If you watched Arizona you most certainly know who this guy is, as you couldn't miss his 7 foot 225lb frame. I see a lot of mocks with him going to the mavericks in which I couldn't hand pick a better spot for him, as dirk is on his way out this kid would be the perfect replacement as his game is replicated after the great Dirk Nowitzki.
9. Justin Jackson - First Tar Heel off the board. I believe Jackson is very underrated in most mocks Ive seen. His upper classman status could allow him to drop further than he should as the trend is to hop on all the young freshman. He played more PF in college which would make him a tad bit undersized but with his ability to play inside and out I could see him moving into a SF role with the range to be a stretch 4. If Jackson makes it outside the top 12 like most mocks have him he becomes a real steal.
10. John Collins - How is this guy rated outside the top 15 in most mocks?! He's got the best post up game in the draft he's well sized and playing in the toughest conference in college basketball. I really enjoy watching this kid play and believe he is a top 10 player even in this top heavy class.
11. Jonathan Isaac - Personally not a huge fan of Isaac, I believe his size and length bode well for him, as those are things you cannot teach. Especially on the defensive end guarding other SFs. I see him right now as almost a liability on the offensive end of the floor as he dropped the ball big time in big games for the Seminoles when I watched.
12. OG Anunoby - High upside but will require a ton of work to develop into a solid wing at the next level I believe his reward is worth the risk at 12 and if he finds himself in a situation where he isn't asked to carry a huge load of the offense right away he could turn into something really nice at the next level. I can see him contributing to a team similar to how Otto Porter does in Washington.
13. Jarrett Allen - To be completely honest I have only seen highlights of this guy but his measurables give him the potential to find a home in our league as we are very big man friendly. He seems to play well with his back to the basket and with the wingspan he has he could shoot over just about anyone.
14. Bam Adebayo - Probably reaching on this one but it seems wrong not to have a Kentucky big in the lottery and Bam can dictate a game defensively as good as any other Center in the draft when hes feeling it. Plus hes got the coolest name in the class as well.
I would go further but I'm tired so I guess this did the job I had hoped, goodnight.

Good read but to be candid its clear you never watch college by the way you describe most of these especially Lonzo. Get to the cup anytime he wants? Tatum and strength in the same sentence is cute. Fultz at 4 just says enough alone. Justin Jackson 9th with Isaac 11, are you trolling? You're 100% on the right track with Collins and Anunoby only to then put a 6 foot 9 center who will go between 25-35 at the end of the lottery? If Stanley Kubrick wrote mock drafts, itd be this

Also wtf about Jackson playing PF at Carolina? He literally never played the 4, Pinson was the small 4. Hicks, Meeks and Bradley when healthy were the only pf\c. When Bradley went down it was Pinson who became the 2nd unit pf. Why do you talk out of your ass so much? This shit isnt hard. Get your bullshit straight about my Heels, best frontcourt in the nation and Jackson wasnt part of that. Hes a skinny wing, basically a poor man's Brogdon. I've watched Justin for years dont come at me with this bs

I was already waiting for your troll on my post haha. I've watched quite a bit actually and put this together just off of pure eye test and especially duke. Tatum was unguardable against anyone in college on isolation plays. I feel like I saw a lot of Jackson playing bigger than he should in college, not necessarily lined up at the 4. If not my conclusion about him transitioning in the league makes even more sense. Lonzo left a lot on the table at UCLA you don't have to look too hard to see that the kid is the full package. I just put Bam in there (Like I said in the post) cuz I was tired and like him but I do believe he's incredibly underrated.
Your like a sheep that will believe anything on his way to the slaughter. If it's not on draftexpress or w.e site you guys look at it's not true. This is my opinion.
Oh and Fultz fucking sucks get over it.

you can throw your rankings out here if youd like and we can all laugh at you in 3 years. You've proven your view on the game is below average at best when it comes to basketball, I'm not the least bit worried.
the real point of this is to help fools like you from finishing 2-12 every season. I'm trying to help you

Yacob, stop acting like things are set in stone and having this player outside the top ten is outrageous, or putting that guy in the top fifteen is the most ridiculous thing ever. Every draft, every year, has proven that a mentality like that is foolish, there are too many variables and too few accurate predictors of pro performance.
That said, I will take issue with TJ's statement about Jackson's upperclassmen status making him underrated; one of the only consistently predictable elements of rookie evaluation is that more age/experience translates to lower ceiling. This especially applies to guys coming from college teams that are well-coached and have more challenging competition (read as, the big name programs, with a few exceptions). The longer you play in a system like that, the more your total potential will be realized, and very very few people continue to substantially improve beyond a certain point; Kawhi is honestly the only legit example I can think of, and that man's dedication to understanding and improving his game is beyond exceptional. The vast majority of guys will develop a style of play, establish habits, "find their basketball identity" if you will, and essentially remain that same player the rest of their career. That's why youth is a major factor in valuation of incoming rookies, and it's totally valid, not a "trend" as you claim.

Justin Jackson is a shooting guard, you guys are literally retarded as well but we established that years ago. Keep talking Bulls because my team fucks your little gatorade league team in the mouth. And Spurs the only ridiculous thing he saying is Jackson is a PF, he couldn't even play sf comfortably at unc, he played SG the entire tourney for example, watch the game against UK and what he did to Malik Monk, the games against Duke who's he covering? Tj just says anything and people like you guys (who also dont actually watch shit) praise it. Some opinions are wrong and most of these are really off, but only 3 people actually like watching basketball here apparently. Its just funny how you can have a totally uneducated opinion on anything and get credit for it, people like spurs and bulls are why Trump and Hilary were the two candidates

Love when others chime in with their opinions thanks TJ. Also gotta agree with Yacob on some things. Jackson wont ever be a PF, and the evaluation of Ball is pretty poor imo. If he had a lethal jumper he wouldnt have taken only 8 mid range jumpers all year. He isn't comfortble shooting the rock, and NBA teams will force him to spots until he improves. He also doesn't really have an advanced handle and when bigs swithced onto him instead of going by them with ease like Fultz and Fox he would pull up from 30. He'd drain them sometimes yeah, but to me its important to show me you can go by whenever and i never saw that. We'll see though time will tell, i like a lot of the other evals though

One thing about Lonzo that i saw that goes overlooked was his defensive ability. His wingspan is only his height, but he plays position defense and when he does decide to gamble he seems to make it pay off. I like Lonzo and from our talks it seems like Caleb does too, but his weaknesses are sooo glaring. I feel like there are 2 different types of people and which type you are determines how you see the game. There are people who have played and been involved in the game and there are those who's entire experience is 2k and First Take. Tj clearly falls into the ladder category.

Bro you're way to sensitive lol. Sports is great as in it can be seen from many vantage points. Obviously we don't agree on ball, and I have no problem with your takes on him. I just think you're wrong and he's a more complete player than you say he is.
That aside you get bent way to out of shape over these things. None of us do this for a living, calm down sparky.

Is there ever a time when you aren't acting like a know it all dick bag? TJ put in the time to create his rankings, which we should appreciate; you're not required to agree with his opinions, and if you want to debate a point or something, fine, do so civilly... but this "you're a fucking retard, you don't watch basketball, only i know what I'm talking about" bullshit is really tiresome. Grow up.

As a UT fan (and now alum), I can give some insight into Jarrett Allen and how I think he'll do in the NBA.
Compared to another recent UT one and done (Myles Turner), Allen is easily more raw. That's saying something considering how "raw" Turner was when he was drafted. Allen has better touch around the rim though and has shown a really nice soft hook shot at times. Free throw shooting has to improve. He's a different player than Turner, but they're both shot blockers on defense. Like most big men, it'd be nice to see Allen bulk up esp considering he won't play outside as much as Turner does he'll be around the rim.
He won't be as good as Turner, but I think Allen can develop into a nice off the bench big who can score and defend decently. He's gonna take some time to develop. He should've come back tbh.

Since when does Ball project as a good defender?
That entire UCLA team was complete garbage at defense and Ball specifically fit that category.

Bam has climbed up the draft boards a bit since the end of the yr projections. He has soft hands around the rim and missed a ton of easy ones around the basket. However, he was really the only capable big for UK must of the season. He was handcuffed by bs SEC refs calling weak fouls bc of his pure strength.
His jump shot will separate him from others in this range and I think he becomes a very respectable big because of that. He has a crazy vertical for his size and will be project better in the NBA even more so than college.

Idk...I guess a lot depends on him with that, coaching too. Defense is completely misunderstood as is so for me to really say definitively either way would be blowing smoke up your ass. BUT he had good games against good pg's, he actually played solid defense against Fultz one of those games for example. Then again D'aaron Fox son'd his ass for 39pts so its all in how you choose to perceive him
