Spurs get: Dejounte Murray - $15.18M (2025 UFA) Robert Williams - $20.27M (2027 UFA) MIL 2026 1st round pick LAL 2024 2nd round pick
Bucks get: Brandon Ingram - $19.92M (2025 UFA) Daniel Gafford - $16.00M (2028 UFA) TJ McConnell - $250K (2024 UFA)
Spurs accept, long-winded explanation... go!
Something like this was always my plan with the BI and Gaff trades, and I like DeJounte hella more than BI, mostly cuz durability as I'm already sick of Brandon sitting games; don't think there's much substance to the Trae trade rumors but if ATL wises up and does move him I can see DJ goin' right back to a 35-40 guy. Was hoping to get a sooner and better pick as Jacob will still have Giannis/LaMelo/BI and whoever else he retains or acquires, but with no other 1sts and just the one good 2nd left he's in a tough spot for adding real production outside those guys, and to me Middleton will be pretty cooked by the 25 season. This also increases the value of my own pick which I reacquired in the Gaff trade, so yeah.... this was sorta my plan. Can't say Williams, who I'm immediately placing OTB for pretty cheap (late 1st would probs get 'im) and re-christening as "the missed time lord", is really any better than Gaff contract wise, cringed when he got resigned at 20M and he's only proven me correct, but if he somehow gets and stays healthy he does put up numbers. Worst case I could just drop him when cap starts getting tighter, but this was about making my own pick better and getting another at least purty good 1st.
Def makes Jacob quite a bit scarier this year, think it works well for him too. Good dealing and good luck mate!

Like this for Spurs at first glance. Rob could be an albatross long term though. Easy approve and fun deal.

accept. Dejounte is 33 a game at this point, don’t see him ever having a Spurs role again. Ingram averaged 33 last year and I think he’ll work up to that again. Injuries are a concern there but that’s a fine risk to win a third ring. I actually think Gafford is really good. Have a hard time seeing him not get 20 minutes consistently over that contract, and he’s got more value than Rob right now. I promise I asked every team to take Rob. He is a negative asset at this point. TJ is nice, but in and out of the rotation right now. Hoping for a trade. He has 20 a game potential. I realize some won’t like this for me as I lose best asset but y’all really have to have Rob in your squad to get it 😂

Approve (2-0)
Nice move by Jacob. Immediately puts him back in contention this year and gets off the Rob contract.
Good for Spurs to continue to stack assets, but good luck getting off Rob Will. I would just cut him this year personally.

Approve. Going from durable Dejounte to 50 games a year BI is going to hurt Bucks but he should still see decent short term gains from swapping Rob Will with Gafford. Like this for Spurs longterm.

Approve.
Nice move by Spurs here. I'm really skeptical about the BI/Zion fit long-term along with the health concerns already mentioned. Regardless this is still a dub for Bucks this season.

Approve. Win for spurs. Rob will sucks and is always hurt but dejounte is the best piece here and he gets a first as well. Love BI but his production and injury issues have been muffin.
