I accept. Needed to trade an expiring contract and get a guy who averaged 34 fppg the last 5 years and addresses my glaring need for quality production at the PF/C position. Although pascal has had a slow start, I expect shooting percentages and volume to normalize whether it be in Toronto or elsewhere. Resigning Maxey over kyrie as he’s younger and I think kyrie is erratic which affects the amount of games he played. The Houston second was hard to give up although I got it with two other seconds after trading pick 37 in this years draft so I don’t mind. Will have the cap space to resign Maxey, keep siakam and have some left over too with many more moves left to be made.

Headed into the caleb "retool". The KPJ abuse incident really forced me into changing my plans rather quickly. The league is much too strong now a days for me to have a shot with the current landscape of monster rosters. I've always liked jalen suggs and want to capitalize on the slow start to his career/guard filled magic backcourt. Fultz and cole anthony r coming up in 2024 and i dont think they keep both if either. This gives me a lot of cap to make some moves in the upcoming FA and i get shitty pat williams who will fly away after this year. The two firsts help me replenish some picks moving forward if i eventually fall into a full on rebuild or can be used to try to compete if suggs flies soon. Gotta give a shoutout to Pelicans who was grinding for days with both me and Suns to get this thing done. Suns has the ability to resign kyrie and can become a juggernaut in here for a long time. Johnny becomes even more Johnny which is fun. Good luck gentleman. this is what the league is all about. will be fun to look back on in a couple years and hat someone (most likely me) for making a muffin move.
I accept. Tempted to cut pat williams (suns thinks hes worth a first) but will refrain for now.

Suns accept
Had a lot of possible deals but between cap and having to be 100% locked to a roster this was the move I was looking for. My SG depth before this was extremely weak (pretty much just Jalen Suggs). I hate to see Jalen go but he honestly infuriates me when I watch him. I think one day he will get his game down but I’m not trying to wait that long. The 2024 1st may be decent but I expect the 2026 1st late.
All in all this trade looks solid for everyone all the way around to get what they want. Sarge gets a rebuilding package for Siakam, Johnny gets an established star for kyrie and I get a overall upgrade in production
As sarge said, shoutout to pels for grinding to get this thing done, homie put a lot of work in on this

Approve. Cool deal that seems to make sense for everyone. Not sure I love anything Magic gets for Siakam but it definitely is the exact kind of package he needed and Suggs could turn into something decent. Also gives him plenty of flexibility and assets to retool with. Johnny’s part of the deal is self explanatory, dude had 100 expirings and needed to recoup some value in Siakam. I think he will be disappointed with Siakam’s output this year compared to years past but he should still score solid. Suns comes out the clear winner here imo, turning two 20 a game role players and his own firsts into Kyrie is a huge win and I think Kyrie has a lot left in the tank still.

I like this a lot for all teams. Orlando gets decent value for Siakam, probably could've gotten more last year but 2 firsts and a couple players with potential is a fine return. It seems like a little bit of an overpay from Suns, but to truly compete in this league you need studs like Kyrie so I get it. Johnny gets out of the bind he was in with contracts for this year without really giving up too much production.
Fun deal guys, I love these types of trades.

Approve, decently full value for kyrie in a resign year is well done by Johnny. Would’ve kept Siakam at this price but if you like Suggs, sure.

Nice deal, think Johnny extracted strong value for Kyrie and suns paid a lot. Magic made a good call given landscape of league. Suggs is fun and the picks are nice. Feels maybe light for Pascal but trust Sarge knows that market better than I do.

Approve.
Reiterating a lot of what was already said, but good job by Pels to get a player like Siakam given the salary/contract bind he was in. Still needs to sort out the remainder of the contract situation heading into the off-season but this was a nice first step.
I really like the aggressive play by Suns. He's got the two best rookies this season and isn't slow playing the process. Probably a bit of an overpay on Kyrie, but we know he's still elite when he's out there. There doesn't seem to be a truly dominant team in bball26 this season, so might as well give it a shot while the young players are cheap.
Feel the same as Mavs does about the move for Orlando here--the team was stuck in purgatory and didn't have much flexibility to improve that roster this season. I'm high on Suggs and think he will always get run because of the defense--hopefully the shooting percentages increase. Interested to see the haul he gets for Jimmy.
Nice deal fellas
