CHA Trades: Daniel Gafford 16M (2027) SAS 1st (2024) CHA 2nd (2026)
SAS Trades: Jaxson Hayes 4.5M (2027) CHA 1st (2024) SAS 2nd (2026)
I accept. Believe this is what I have to do to get my pick back.
Also if Gaff balls out there is a chance this helps push chris past Jazz for the 8 spot out west and I own UTH 1st.

Spurs accept. Hope y'all are ready for an unnecessarily long explanation, as per usj.
Always been a Gaff fan, per-minute and "advanced stats" stud, and he'll get all the opportunity he can handle this year, finally; Wizards' plan is apparently to have Gallo as his only backup? LOL. Hate the contract, not sure he's worth that kinda money long-term, but he might be and excess cap is one thing I do have for at least a few more years. Think that pick is easily the best piece here which makes it a win for TJ, however... early yet but frankly don't much care for next year's draft class, especially the difference between the top fellas and the rest, so think taking a swing with my own pick isn't that much worse than having what figures to be a high lotto. If Hayes plays decent minutes at all, or Wood does Christian Wood type things and ends up out of the rotation, I'll really regret this, but oh well. Second swap is meh but makes it a little more palatable for me. Plus TJ has been great throughout stupid long talks around something like this, and a struggling team getting their own pick back just feels right for the league. Thanks mate, best of luck to ya!

Very interesting trade. Prefer TJ’s side by a bit but totally understand if Spurs likes his guy and wants to go get him. I think that Hornets pick has a real shot of being top 5-7 so I would rather just hold if I am spurs but fun trade all around.

Interesting deal. Probably lean the Hornets side, but I really like Gafford.

Gafford at 16M is... not good. He's a useful player but most likely a 20 minute a night guy on a good team. Wouldn't project him to be a long term starter in the NBA. Great sell by TJ, Charlotte 1st is going to be in the running for the top pick.
