I get why Trey wanted to make this deal, but disagree with him doing this so quickly before we understand more about the KPJ situation. IMO, he could've gotten him for cheaper once we found out more about a potential suspension. KPJ is $18M for the next 5 years and already looked like an overpaid player prior to all of this especially with the Rockets signing FVV this offseason.
What a trade for Sarge. To get any value from KPJ so quickly is a steal and might've saved his season (no joke)

Maybe this works out for Hawks like it did with Bridges, but it doesn't seem as likely based on KPJ's history. Just a really confusing decision to make this move so quickly for Atlanta.
This trade would've been a win for the Magic even before the KPJ news came out yesterday, seeing as KPJ is an expensive bench player moving forward.

Borderline veto. KPJ isn’t that much better than Hunter contracts included. And Hunter isn’t facing jail time. I’ll approve this in the spirit of each team having intention that vaguely makes sense but wow this is bad.
