These are not PERSONAL rankings. I am simply ranking each team as currently constructed. If your ranking offends you, good. Do something about it, pussy.
30- Atlanta Hawks
Going to be an awful team. Had a nice draft though, Cason and Jarace are so fucking cool. Bufkin mids.
29- Charlotte Hornets
What a pack of ass this squad is. Good to see this organization finally pick a direction however.
28- Los Angeles Lakers
Weird summer in la la land. I don’t get trading a top 3 pick when you’re rebuilding. No established young studs were even received in return. Dyson and Dieng are cool prospects, but they’re not going to have a ton of opp, basically slow cook guys. I think you would’ve been better off buying them for a discount later instead of buying them for peak value right now. Even Black is in a very peculiar spot opportunity wise. Would u rather have a lotto ticket that could pay off for a milly or 3 individual tickets that pay out for 100k each max?
27- Sacramento Kings
Rebuilder playbook 101, sign vets and sell them for picks later. Got insane value for Mikal Bridges too.
26- Washington Wizards
Congrats on 26th place lol.
25- Houston Rockets
Loved the Amen move. Not sure why this franchise gets made fun of for tanking. Not even sure it’s been that long of a tank?
24- San Antonio Spurs
Made a move for Ingram but this team has a ways to go.
23- Chicago Bulls
Loved my offseason.
22- Golden State Warriors
Starting to get hairy and this might be a shock to some but once you look at the roster and realize how young it is… very much a bottom 10 team. Keyonte George looks incredible tho, nice pick.
21- Los Angeles Clippers
Remy’s sharp but this team needs a direction. Some young studs and assets here but then trades a nice pick for Dlo? Making 1 win now move and then following it up with nothing is curious. It’s early tho.
20- Cleveland Cavaliers
Decent team here, some stars, but no superstars, some depth, but not a ton of depth. Think Keldon’s a grenade too.
19- Toronto Raptors
Eh? Harden/Mikal/OG trio is solid but the depth is pretty bad.
18- Denver Nuggets
Think this team is solid and should be better than last year but I don’t see a wild breakout year incoming.
17- Detroit Pistons
Young building blocks have been acquired, think it’s team for this team to start looking to compete. Nurkic deal was super weird tho, not sure that was the play. A Kawhi conversation might need to be had internally at some point.
16- Phoenix Suns
Congrats on Wemby.
15- Utah Jazz
Decently cooked win-now team.
14- Orlando Magic
Maybe another shocker of a ranking? Think Sarge has lost a ton of pts this offseason and depth was already an issue. DB and Tobias are gone, KPJ will have a diminished role. I’d have this team higher if he had 3 iron soldiers at the top but Jimmy is going to rest/be hurt. Wouldn’t call this offseason a failure tho, getting a juicy pick for Tobias was solid.
13- Boston Celtics
I’ve had Celtics too high in the past so I’m readjusting. The young pups need time to grow.
12- Indiana Pacers
Definitely some pts lost in dealing Harden, but I think Simons puts up a lot of fpts this year.
11- New York Knicks
Fun team, ending up with Trae Young somehow this past offseason was a dub. I still don’t think the team is close to the top though and Sood’s picks are at 0. Some interesting young players here though.
10- Philadelphia 76ers
Damn, Trae/Sabo/Giddey was the most ideal big 3 ever in here imo. Breaking that up was crazy. Depth is a little better but Grant/Bogey aren’t moving mountains.
9- Dallas Mavericks
Hart was a nice pickup. I don’t think it was a good idea to use the newfound cap on Isaac tho. Don’t think he’s a good piece for a competing team. Clowney was a nice pick but he is a project.
8- Brooklyn Nets
Andre has a lot of young guys for a win now team. I think the depth is better than it has been in previous years for sure tho.
7- Memphis Grizzlies
Pretty quiet offseason in Memphis. Donte and SlowMo are solid depth pieces.
6- Oklahoma City Thunder
Trading for a nearly 40 yr old LeBron was certainly a choice. The depth is pretty crazy on this team tho and it’s backed by a great big 3 of Embiid-Bron-Jrue. The health of Embiid and LeBron will be key (no shit Sherlock).
5- New Orleans Pelicans
I think this is the lowest I’ve ever had the Pelicans. Clock is ticking on this team.
4- Portland Trail Blazers
Is it rude to put the reigning champ 4th? What Sharpe does this year will be interesting.
3- Milwaukee Bucks
Hi Jacob.
2- Miami Heat
Sabonis was a huge add and he got DeRozan for a late lotto pick. Ridiculous.
1- Minnesota Timberwolves
I still think this is the best team on paper when healthy.
30- Atlanta Hawks
