Rockets accept. Hate to move on from Dyson and Ousmane but I gotta consolidate sometime and getting the opportunity to draft a top 3 guy in a draft like this is too good imo. Get a top guy to add to the core of Paolo/Green/Herro

I accept. Went back and forth with this decision so much, however at the end of the day moving forward with a deal to help get more young talent into the Lakers system. I saw a drop-off after the first two picks and didn't fall in love with Miller or Amen.
In return, I get two lotto picks from last year's draft who I loved and who can continue to mold their game into quality players in this league. Specifically, I think Dyson can be special as larger combo guards can continue to be an emphasis in how teams structure rosters. Also, I get a top 10 pick in this year's draft and have my eye on two players with pick #9.
Rockets, pleasure doing business.

Approve. Fun trade overall and could go hella different ways. Makes sense for both sides too, I think Rockets need to consolidate a bit and Lakers needed more talent in general. If I have to pick I'm going with the rockets side just because the guys available here just have a much higher ceiling in my eyes than anyone Lakers gets.

I don’t think there were any sure-fire studs at #3 so I understand Lakers moving down and stockpiling some young assets. I would’ve hoped the quality of the players could’ve been a little bit better, but it’s still solid nonetheless.
Necessary consolidation move from Houston and im looking forward to seeing a push to the playoffs soon.

I’m pretty high on both guys Rockets gave up and don’t see a huge gap between 3 and 9 so I love this for Lakers. Cool deal though and lots of potential for a win win.
