#1. Victor Wembanyama - The greatest NBA prospect since LeBron James. Enough said
#2. Scoot Henderson - Almost any other class and this guy is the runaway #1 pick in my opinion. He is so explosive and plays bigger than his listed size.
#3. Amen Thompson - Took me a while to get here but even while watching him play against absolute bums in the overtime league. There is no doubt the upside is through the roof with this kid. Honestly, watching how he can create for guys that are far below his level of play was one of the most encouraging signs. I wouldn’t have had this kid anywhere near this spot a month ago.
#4. Brandon Miller - This kid is going to score at the next level aside from not being a great athlete. He can play on-ball or off-ball and be effective. Plays with his eyes up and can find the open man when his shot isn't there
#5. Taylor Hendricks - I have changed my tone a bit with this kid. His skill set is made for this format and after a second look actually has potential on the offensive side of the court. At the very least will provide the defensive counting stats that matter most.
#6. Cam Whitmore - Safest pick in the draft outside of Scoot and Victor. The stereotypical modern-day wing who brings it on both ends of the floor. Extremely strong with a sturdy frame to finish through contact. Does get a bit of tunnel vision when driving to the basket and needs to develop a bit as a playmaker. But outside of that he does everything pretty well and should produce a solid floor in our format.
#7. Keyonte George - I love myself a nice certified chucker this time of year. Keyonte is a flat-out bucket and has so much more in his bag. He won’t bring you much consistency. At least not out the gate but the upside is massive.
#8. Jalen Hood-Schifino - Feels like this kid isn’t getting quite the respect he deserves. I believe he has one of the best mid-range games in the class and is a force in the pick n roll. Not the greatest athlete, but he plays with such control and patience.
#9. Gradey Dick - Another guy I was not expecting to have this high. He will be drafted as a floor spacer. But the kid moves so well off ball and has the ability to create for others as well as himself. More than meets the eye with this kid.
#10. Leonard Miller - Moving up a lot of boards. A true rim runner who checks off all the boxes of a big that will excel in our format.
#11. GG Jackson - Its tough to find the skillset this kid has at this age, matched with his physical tools. Lots of focus on his lack of engagement and playing winning basketball. The kid might be Javale McGee-level dumb but the upside is massive with this kid and if he leaks outside of the lotto it's a no-brainer shot to take.
#12. Cason Wallace - Possibly should be higher just for his floor. The handle isn’t as tight as I would like for a primary ball handler and his upside seems capped offensively. Don’t ever see him becoming “the guy” for a team. But as the best on-ball defensive guard in the class, he should find himself in a nice role anywhere he goes.
#13. Bilal Couliaby - So raw but the flashes are nice. Finishes at the rim as well as anyone with insane bounce. Between him and the previous guy I ranked could be the widest range of outcomes in the top 10. Will need time to develop.
#14. Ausar Thompson - A poor man's version of his brother.
#15. Dereck Lively - A true center who will likely make a living as a rim protector. Loves to lurk on the baseline for easy clean-up baskets. The team he lands on could determine a lot about how he develops.
#16. Trayce Jackson-Davis - Believe his age is the only thing keeping him from being a lottery pick in the real draft. High-level creator in the post who also protects the rim well.
#17. Jarace Walker - Undersized stocky big who does a good amount of everything well. Will most likely go higher than this but not much about his game excites me enough to put him higher.
#18. Anthony Black - Outside of the measurements I don’t quite understand this guy being a top 8 pick like he is in most mocks. His shot needs to develop in a hurry or I just believe he will be eaten alive at the next level.
#19. Brandin Podziemski - Crafty combo guard who will put the ball in the basket. Underrated as a passer. Love the upside.
#20. Kobe Brown - High IQ two-way contributor who has a knack for creating for others. A late bloomer who just found his shot in this past season. Honestly could see him outperforming this slot easily.
#21. Brice Sensabaugh - Volume scorer who is better than I remember after rewatching the tape. One of the few bright spots on a very bad team. Might be the best tough shot maker in the class. Hasnt shown an interest in passing which makes it tough to rank him higher.
#22. Nick Smith Jr - I like the game but the output was underwhelming for the amount of hype surrounding him preseason.
#23. Kobe Bufkin - Think he will be better IRL than in fantasy, should have a floor as a rotational piece in this league.
#24. Olivier Maxense-Prosper - Love this kid and believe teams in the league will as well. Its the point in the draft where you won't find much immediate production, but I believe the motor and energy this kid plays with will find his way to making an impact right away.
#25. Rayan Rupert - Not enough to move this kid up higher, but love the upside with this kid. Very fluid in transition and has the ability to be a very effective playmaker. Shooting numbers are below average but there is potential there as well. Needs to get stronger. A menace for opposing guards to deal with.
#26. Maxwell Lewis - Lots of upside but outside of the shot nothing is completely polished yet. Need to see more development with the ball in his hands, especially as a playmaker.
#27. Tristan Vukcevic - Not much out there on this guy but has had a great pre-draft process and can flat-out shoot the basketball. That combined with the measurables makes him worth a late-round flier.
#28. Ben Sheppard - Great feel for the game. Lacks a bit athletically and effectiveness around the rim but has a chance to be a contributor in the right spot.
#29. Dariq Whitehead - So many questions lingering around this kid. Not sure after two surgeries if he will ever live up to the #1 overall recruit he was a year ago. Worth a shot at this stage but I'm a bit skeptical.
#30. Sidy Cissoko - 3 and D with some bounce. Dont, see a high ceiling.
#31. Jamie Jaquez Jr - Very gifted offensively with a huge arsenal in the post to create for himself and others. His age probably keeps him out of the first round but I believe this kid will be an asset for someone at the next level.
#32. Kris Murray - Less efficient version of his brother. Should however come in and be ready to contribute in some capacity right away.
#33. Jalen Slawson - Fun wing prospect who can bring the ball up the floor and play a point forward like role. Love the polish in his game and the versatility on offense.
#34. Marcus Sasser - Like what he does with the ball in his hands. Good enough defender to find himself on the floor. Should be a solid rotational piece one day.
#35. Jett Howard - Not a fan of what he brings from a fantasy perspective. Will be invested heavily enough IRL to be worthy of a selection though.
#36. Jordan Hawkins - Refer back to the previous slot.
#37. Keyontae Johnson - Will be initially brought in as a pure 3 and D prospect. But I like the versatility potential on offense enough to take a swing.
#38. Noah Clowney - Cant shoot but thinks he can. Kills his percentages. Average defender.
#39. Amari Bailey - Far from a finished product but is a good on-ball defender with a ton of upside on the offensive side.
#40. Justyn Mutts - One of the oldest in the class but has a high IQ and works well as a slasher and creator.
