Warriors Trade: 2026 GSW 1st Bryce McGowens $1.64 M (RFA) 2026
Spurs Trade: 2023 Utah 1st (Pick13)
Warriors accept. Lmao and the streak continues. Honestly I thought I was gonna keep my pick both years of the past years, but in both instances a player/piece I love has become available. I love this class. It's why I was willing to get bent over in the Demar deal. Also even though it's probably smart, I don't ever wanna bottom out. I'm hoping I can nail these two picks and have a semi swift turn around back into contention. Thanks for the talks, Chris.

Spurs accept.
Thus continues, and ends, for the nonce at least, my bid to extend the life of my assets and avoid having an excessive quantity of rookies on the same contract schedule. I am not particularly thrilled with this concordat as there will remain a passing fair number of high upside prospects available at 13 and the 1st is far enough away to be of questionable value, especially given the certainty that it originated with a well-managed franchise... however, I do rather fancy McGowens. Quite a decent bit, actually. Enough to most gratefully accept this fine offering from this even finer gentleman, in point of fact, despite the ambience evinced by mine own so recently articulated postulations.
Flowery language aside, doin' this cuz I like Bryce about as much as anyone I'm likely to get late lotto, getting a future first that is possibly quite valuable and very likely at least as good as the one I'm giving makes it a no-brainer for me.

Approve. Interesting trade. Could go either way to be honest. The 13 range has some guys I really like this year and w/ Bridges plus the number 2 pick coming to Charlotte in the near future I think I lean towards liking this for Warrs. I do think Mcgowens is really cool and looked the part when I saw him play, just don't know what kind of role he'll have on a regular basis. The way the Warrs team is rebuilding though, that 2026 pick could definitely be around late lotto as well so could end up being fine for Spurs too.
Still feel like Spurs could've done better for the pick and asked for more especially given what the market has been for picks in this range. For someone trying to capitalize on draft fever I don't really know if he accomplished much besides moving his pick back a couple years.

Approve.
Based on how highly current year picks are valued, it's not enough for 13. I think it's fine tho, there is good odds that Caleb's team doesn't improve and continues spiraling down. It's against the grain for sure and I think it has a solid chance of working out for Spurs.
Don't like what Caleb is doing, "Also even though it's probably smart, I don't ever wanna bottom out." That is very very bad and I think he's guaranteeing purgatory at best.

Yeah not sure what Spurs is doing considering the type of players picks can garner you around this time, but hey theres a reason empty spaces are the hardest to explore. Approve

Present day value this is a no brainer for Caleb and super head scratching for spurs but I think when you really sit down and look at it long term… this could be a win for spurs. Caleb likes to compete so I don’t see him being completely shit in 2026 but crazier shit has happened. All dependent on who Caleb snags at 13! Fun trade

Not sure why Spurs is so confident in Caleb's failure. This pick could fetch a ton during the draft depending on how the board shakes out, don't see enough upside in this move to gamble against one of the most reliably competitive teams in the league. Pass.
