Spurs get: Hornets' 2024 1st round pick Cedi Osman (7.5 7.5 UFA) TJ Warren (9.1 9.1 9.1 9.1 UFA) Clippers get: D'Angelo Russell (17.33 17.33 17.33 17.33 17.33 UFA) John Konchar (2.25 2.25 UFA) $8.0M paid on DAR for 23/24 season Spurs accept. Here I go, making a similar deal without even the draft fever excuse after just ripping into wars, and with DAR quite a bit younger than Demar. Sorry Caleb! 1st round pick compilation fever, I guess, lol. Been chasing this particular pick for some time, at least 3 owners' worth, with so many teams trying to lose it's become really hard to judge but I still think it's late lotto at worst with the possibility to be early-mid lotto. You have your own 2025 picks, Hornets, stop trading for the JV's of the world and start the tanking already . Been shopping DAR for several years now with no luck, at this point he's five years ahead of my timeline and I'm really sick of the inconsistency and frequent injuries; still think there's a glimmer of upside there, but 3 straight years under 30fppg with the aforementioned issues... I'm ready to move on, especially as keeping him rostered only serves to make my pick next year worse, not like it makes me competitive right now and I don't see him becoming a difference maker in the future. All the money stuff doesn't really impact me much at all, makes other trades a bit harder to facilitate but that's it, at worst the bad contracts are just drops with non-impactful cap hits for next year, more than balanced out by not paying $17M for DAR. I am sorry to see Konchar go, dude's cheap and generally underrated, but ain't nobody playing like he actually matters much. Thanks for your patience and the pleasant talks Mr. ClipsMan!

This deal terrifies me, i just see the future where Spurs is picking top 5 and im at home eating a nothing-burguer.
But i must do what must be done. Is The Prophesy... The witches have spoken !
And i must acknowledge it.
SpursMan ! A pleasure to speak with you as always. Good Luck!

Approve. Like this for Spurs. Think DLo's ceiling is pretty capped as a player and he's pretty dang expensive. That first could end up being a top 10 pick next year. I get it for Remy too though, dude has been looking for his PG for months and finally got one. Also gets rid of some of his bad contracts too. Good deal boys.

APV.
Rather have the upside of the pick but DLo is a decent enough player.

Really like this deal for Spurs. Funny that these teams essentially played hot potato with DAR in the past few years.
Between Warren and Cedi and the uncertainty of DAR landing spot, this could be a wash in FPPG next year. Konchar isn't nothing but his role is also consistently inconsistent.
The real prize here is that Hornets first. That is certainly valuable, especially with how middling that team is currently.

would rather have cha 2024 1 which could legit be a top 8 pick. Dlo is a producer but id rather have the upside of that pick.
appv.

Approve.
I think this is a solid win for Spurs.
Remy is just in a tough spot with the Lonzo situation and it's forcing his hand. Having $35m tied up into Lonzo + DLo for the considerable future is messy. This trade probably does help Clippers be more competitive next season if that's what he's looking for.
I probably would've held onto the Charlotte '24 1st thru the upcoming draft & free agency to see the direction TJ is headed before pulling the trigger on any deal involving that pick.
