Thunder receive: Jrue Holiday 21m 21m 21m FA (4.83m paid 2023, 3.15m paid 2024) DayRon Sharpe 1.55m 2.8m RFA
Hawks receive: Kyle Kuzma 12.4 14.25 14.25 FA Isaiah Jackson 2.01m 3.52m RFA
Hawks accept, feels like a solid return on Jrue especially with the rumors swirling that he might only play two more years. Kuz has been really solid for two years now and I don’t see that letting up, only entering his age 28 season he’s got 5 years on Jrue. Isaiah is a per minute block monster who I think can break out. Tough finding a competing team that can absorb Jrue’s contract and also willing to pay for his production without having to sell short on him, appreciate the good trade talks Lor, go get em!

I accept. Need an elite PG. Kuz I don’t think will ever be a #1 or even a #2. Usage seemed a bit high to me, Beal only playing 50 games. I think he comes back down to earth.
Sucks to see IJax go, but Sharpe ain’t bad. I look at this as an increase in production and slight drop in my prospect’s potential.

Approve. I like this for Hawks, Kuzma’s usage not going to be as crazy as it was this year but he should still get stats and put up fantasy points. Ijax is a sneaky little upgrade on Sharpe too, I think Ijax is a much better player than Sharpe.
Makes sense for Loren’s direction too and didn’t give up anything world ending.

Approve.
Like this for Trey.
Jrue has crossed that tipping point where he won’t return real fair value due to age. This feels like the last time he’ll return solid value. Lor I guess consolidated here but remains to be seen if his team is good enough to make that matter.

Well… this is a win win trade for hawks. If ijack doesn’t develop he gets a younger kuzma on a smaller contract in a great situation in WSH. If he does develop, BendMan gets wrecked in this trade. I get that there is technically more certainty in the short term for Jrue over kyle but ur paying for it.

Pass, like for hawks cuz IJax>Sharpe, but even if only for two years jrue for kuz is worth it; kuz needs a huge role to score in here and I'm not sure he earns it on most rosters long term
