Mavs Trade: Michael Porter Jr. 18.53 / 18.53 / 18.53 / 18.53
Kings Trade: Josh Hart 14.48 / 14.48 / 14.48 (6.73M paid this year, 2M paid next year) Nets 2023 1st
Mavs accept. I love MPJ, definitely one of the most fun players in the league to watch. I need to open up some cap room though and Hart is a super reliable contributor who I have long admired. A little worried about his role in New York, considering the dropoff in production after he got there, but thats what the first coming my way is payment for.
Anyways, more moves to come that will help explain this one too. Good dealing Steve.

kings accept. I’m still deep into a rebuild and to me, MPJ has substantially more upside than Hart. That’s why I added the late first.

I totally get Steve swinging for some upside it’s just tough for me to see it while he plays next to Jok/Mal. If he ever leaves and stays healthy there’s upside for sure. I like Kyle grabbing the safer/cheaper player and getting a first on top though.

Approve. Hart has a lot of juice rn because of his recent play but I don't think he's all that. He's one of those guys that just eats in here because of the rebounding but isn't guaranteed a huge role irl. Looks like it's New York tho for now but they have a lot of guys. Good player, safe player, perfect for Kyle/a contender. Like the swing from Steve here though, MPJ could be a player for him and score 30 when he's trying to compete.

Pass, always liked Hart for fantasy because he was so underrated with those awesome reb rates from a guard position, but now he's maybe overrated; what chuck said, more or less. Porter is the kind of guy I avoid, but if he ends up in a situation where he gets the crazy high usage role he needs to be significantly productive in fantasy, well, he'll be just that.

Approve.
Love this for Mavs. MPJ's injury history not withstanding, he just has a reduced role in Denver and is expensive for someone I don't see having an incredibly high ceiling in our scoring.
Everyone needs a Josh Hart on their squad
