The Miami Heat Trade: SF Lauri Markkanen, UTA 12.19 12.19 12.19 UFA C Mason Plumlee, CHA 11.57 11.57 11.57 11.57 UFA C Jericho Sims, NYK 0.7 0.7 0.7 UFA
The Philadelphia 76ers Trade: PF Domantas Sabonis, SAC 24.12 24.12 UFA PF Georges Niang, PHI 0.31 0.31 0.31 0.31 UFA
I HATE trading Lauri, and will miss him dearly but saw an opportunity to add a vital stud that was missing from the squad this past run. Appreciate Peltz for some fun trade talks.

What a sell high from sanjul though that Lauri contract is nice. Feel like Peltz should’ve gotten more value for sabo don’t like any of these secondary pieces

Approve. Insane for Heat to get a top 5 scorer in the league, but Lauri is nice and on a great contract and was a top 15 scorer this year. Maybe Plumlee can find a starting job somewhere, either way he should be solid in his mins and Sims is def the future backup C for the Knicks.
No cap, I woulda rather traded Giddey than Sabo tho.

Fun deal. I’m not sure if this is the type of deal I would have dealt Sabo for but there’s no denying Lauri on that deal is one of the best pieces in this league, I’m just not sure Plumlee is the guy I would have looked to to be that next piece. Regardless fun deal.

Can we get some reasoning from the Sixers? I see no viable reason why he should've done this type of deal. Sabo has been a top 5 fantasy player since he was dealt to Sacramento and is still only 26 years old.
Lauri is a fine player and if he can continue to shoot 51% (career 46% FG) from the field in years to come then this deal is somewhat salvageable, but man I'd just rather have the sure thing in Sabo. Plumlee has had a career year on an awful Charlotte team that gave him all the run he can handle. He will be a backup big next season.
I'm hard-pressed to believe that this was the best package available.

Pass, love it for heat, lauri is fine but he's no sabonis and he'll need to remain the #1 option on a bad team to maintain anything like this year's production... Who can say how long that'll be the case? Nice sell high. Not even close to veto worthy though, y'all are just being dicks

Late vote and everything has been said but it is a clear win for Heat. Just want to say that if you even think about vetoing this, you have mad micro penis energy.
