I accept, gonna push the timeline back. I love Maxey but I think I can get a higher potential player next year and he’ll be cheaper for long and not need a resign sooner. Get a 1st this year to help out too. Good dealing Pels

Approve. Maxey is an unreal grab for Pelicans and also getting Wiggins basically negates losing Jrue for him this year.
I get wanting to move the tanking timeline back but Maxey felt like the highest potential guy on the team. Hope whoever you get with the pick is better Trey.

My reasoning: I get a young stud who I can keep next year to replace jrue production while also resigning wood or Wiggins - a much better resign than jrue given how expensive he is and old. I also get another 35 points for my title run this year. Banking on wood getting healthy by week 2 of playoffs but this was all about getting better this year and get younger in the future while giving myself opportunities to win a championship in years to come. Getting Maxey also allows me to get rid of kyrie who will turn 32 when his contract in our league is up since they share the same resign. Sure I give up hawks pick but I bet he would have tired his best to compete next year if he didn’t have it. I wanted to eliminate that risk

Dont understand this for Hawks at all. It ends a silly season that started with undervalue sells of Harden and Dame last year. Could all be well if Wemby is in Atlanta after the draft but value wise its a yikes for me. Heist for Pels. begrudgingly approve.

Approve.
Hell of a buzzer-beating move by Pelicans, jumps right back into the title hunt. The Hawks will be awful next season so his first should be a good one, but this just doesn't feel right giving up on Maxey this quickly after trading Dame for him 6 months ago.

Looks like enough passed this, I would have vetoed personally. I don't think Hawks get back fair value, and honestly I didn't think this particular instance was actually a legal move since it opens a can of worms. Going forward can we confirm that this type of trade caveat is legal/illegal? Wagner gets hurt, or IRL Magic play some of the younger guys to develop if the playoffs are out of reach, or whatever other weird reason, the Hawks shouldn't have to send an additional pick just because Pelicans didn't get what they wanted out of a player that they willingly traded for:
*if Wagner does not average 16 or more and play in 60% of games throughout our season end(not IRL) hawks sends bucks 24 second as well
Let me know fellas!

Pick does not convey.
