Approve.
KD and Russ back together again!
Fr that Russ contract will be an albatross soon enough, but this is a cheeky move from the Nets in his title push. Eubanks has been pretty solid this year too.
Getting a 1st back with a few depth pieces is sweet. Nice work boys

Approve uh I like for nets? This feels like a sell low on Russ esp when you take back a bad contract in Collins. Idk maybe Russ has less value than I think but he looks like he could be a solid 6 man for a couple more years.

... Pistons must really like zach collins. Russ is averaging 30 a game and Eubanks almost 16. this is so cheeky by nets man. not sure i see any upside in it for pistons.. didnt he just move mikal bridges, mcdaniels, and a first for russ like a year ago. i would love a little more reasoning from pistons. there is just no way u couldn't get more for russ than a mid-late first and collins

Approve. Russ is bad and his contract will undoubtedly end up eventually nipping Nets in the behind but it’s a solid temporary move by Andre to help make up for no KD this year at least esp w Eubanks too. Not sure Pistons really gets back any amazingg players either even though I like Josh Green a lot but I highly doubt the market for Russ was boomin.

I was watching Mavs Lakers last night, seeing Luka hit clutch 3s like he’s taking warm up shots and thought I shouldn’t be wasting a season of Luka in his prime. So I traded for Russ.
Russ has a negative stigma IRL and a gnarly contract, but he produces for fantasy and looks athletic enough to maintain a healthy floor even beyond this season. Eubanks is a good flier as Nurk’s backup and plays well in his minutes.
My contracts match up well enough so I should be able to resign Capela and keep running it back with Luka, KD, Russ, and Capela. Add in my squad of minimum contracts and I think we’re cooking with gas for a while.
Collins is much sexier in theory - he doesn’t even play that well when he starts and Spurs are likely to add more younger front court talent through the draft anyway. Given my roster, I was never gonna use the 2025 first to draft anyway it was always gonna get traded for points.
But I’ll miss Josh - he’s cool and on the rise
Good quick trade talks Pistons
Let’s go ring hunting Brooklyn.

I see this for both people honestly I think it's a fine trade. Westbrook is booty cheeks for sure, but "hollow counting stats" in real life count just the same in fantasy basketball so why not? Also if he ends up on another team in real life without LeBron in town there may be more opportunity for him to turn in more stats. I like Collins, yes maybe Russ could have gotten a tad more but it's not a bad deal given the contracts at play. Approve!

Pass. Zach getting underrated in here, he's got a very fantasy friendly game and when he's locked in he's a stud, has never played consistently enough but mostly due to shit luck injuries... If poeltl gets traded he's def the starter and I think he'd shine. He does need to put in (kinda a lot) more work on his defensive anticipation and rotations, though. Green a nice piece too, plus a first, I like this a lot for Pistons long-term given how few suitors there are for Russ. What's he supposed to do, hold out for something better and end up with nothing?
On the other side, it makes sense for nets if he's going for short-term wins, and he should with the KD/Luka combo locked up; eubanks and Russ both great per-minute fantasy players, but Drew... just isn't very good IRL, don't see him ever playing big minutes, think his current role is about his max value. And Russ is Russ, with that contract most in here gonna see him as negative value, so it's definitely a risky win now move.
I like this trade, nice job gents
