The Toronto Raptors have officially re-signed Italian wing Danilo Gallinari to a 4 year/15.06 million per deal. Gallo was a big part of the Raptors success this season and should continue to be a key piece moving forward. There was some speculation that the Raptors may have been looking into resigning JJ Reddick as he would be a cheaper resign, but the Raptors put that idea to bed pretty quick agreeing to terms with Gallo just a day after the resigning period began. Unless he is moved Gallo will open up as the Raptors starting small forward on opening night.
When asked about why he decided to come back he had this to say, "For me it was a no brainer, i'm happy here in Toronto, and i think we have a real good core group of guys to build with. There really was no reason to leave, and i'm ecstatic to be a Raptor for the foreseeable future." Gallo's resigning does leave the Raptors a little cap strapped as the team only has about 5 mill to work with. That being said, the team doesn't have a ton of holes it needs to fill like some other teams, and it'll be interesting to see if the Raptors are okay with Tony Parker's 15 mill on the books this off-season. As the first resign of the off-season it will be interesting to see where the pieces fall after this, as the small forward market this off-season is pretty bare.

If his ass and Bradley were healthy for that 4-week stretch, I feel like my team woulda been better. So why rock the boat? No one saw the Knicks winning it, but a good, balanced team is key.
