just stop it. everyone is becoming prisoner of the moment. this system could feature any quality QB and make them appear to be a superstar. Brady deserves to be looked at as one of the greatest but im not gonna just forget when he has been hurt the patriots have gone 14-6 with guys like Matt Cassell Jacoby Brisset and Jimmy G.

Bill Belicheck is the greatest coach of all time though

Nah Mike would have easily went a breezy 8/8 if it wasn't for the pseudo suspension, Russell is the only athlete that is up that far. Tom Brady is the best QB ever though and i'd concur on that much being ''fact''. I just hope he can keep adding to this legacy because as a lifetime new englander this is a once every 50 to 75 years at best type of thing. We failed Ted, we lucked into Russell and with Brady he is a 2nd coming of Russell. Our Mt Rushmore of Ted, Bill, Tom and Larry is completely unfuckwithable and thats ommitting Orr, Pedro, McHale, Cousy, Havlicek, Papi...Cant believe that comeback last night though holy shitballs talk about owning the BIG moment. That's greatness right there

And tj kinda exaggerated the making any average qb become a superstar thing but hes honestly at least got somewhat of a point there...I look at Bellicheck and Brady as equals but without each other neither are the GOATs at what they do.

TJ you see their schedule that year? Not to mention an early exit when it counted.

They didn't even make the playoffs. Doesn't matter did you see the pats schedule this year?

Yeah exactly that's why Jimmy G and 3rd string quarterback could win 3 out of 4 early. Then again there just wasn't a lot of talented teams in the league this year.

No other QB in the past 10 years does what Brady did last nite. Maybe Favre, that guy had balls. Peyton isn't composed enough to do that.

Brady has all the accolades as far as rings. But as far as talent wise I've never seen a more skilled quarterback than Peyton manning

Maybe when he had his arm strength.... smartest QB ill give u that but his talent wasn't always the greatest.

He lost his arm in his final year. But in 3 seasons at Denver he went to 2 superbowls. If he had a Defense like that all his career we'd all be calling him the goat right now. Tom has had great defenses in his career. Peyton was literally the demise of the Colts when he left they won 1 game all season and even with luck they have only made the playoffs once since. I'm not even calling Peyton the Goat really just the best I've seen. I believe it's more like a mount Rushmore with Montana Manning Brady and Staubach

Sure guys like Cassel, jimmy buckets, and brisset can still win games for the pats but don't get hung up on regular season success. Tom has won 5 rings, a feat that no other QB has done and it would be a shame to downplay that due to just a good supporting cast. The guy is the football MJ no doubt and I would be very surprised if we ever saw another player like him.

In a few months people will get over this one game that somehow took him from one of the best to the goat. People are over reacting because the game itself was so incredible.

TJ I'll say that statement has merit. I'll also say that in general, a lot of people weren't going to consider Brady the best quarterback ever unless he led his team to superbowl win #5. Probably a mix of both of those things. Definitely a game for the history books in any event.

Every superstar/great has their defining moment, whether that comes in one game or a series. For example i think Lebron cemented his legacy with the finals comeback. But this superbowl is a huge turning point in bradys career because this is what people will remember him for doing. Just because its one game doesnt mean it cant change someones status from one of the best to the goat

no people just have it stuck in their head that the most rings makes you the goat

Again another irrelevant point there were like 10 teams in the league when he did that. Jordan set the standard for rings. LeBron is the only athlete imo who has an argument to even be mentioned with Jordan
