Dynasty Power Rankings - Pre-2022 Edition

The overall approach was to rank teams based on the expected number of rings if things were to play out over the next 5+ years. While I attempted to rankone by one within the tiers, a lot of these are way too subjective to actually stack and the tiers should be the main focus vs. the exact numeric ranking.

Things that were considered:
1. Current roster production, age, and contracts
2. Draft capital
3. The ability to consolidate/liquidate assets for other assets of similar and/or different types

A small extra weight is given to near term team quality. Too many variables are in play to reliably predict more than a year or two down the line. While future value was not ignored, the adage that “a dollar today is worth more than a dollar tomorrow” in general applies nicely here.

This year's theme is Drake songs, which provided perfect categories to describe each teams:
Marvin's Room - "I'm just saying, you could do better"
Feel No Ways - "I've stopped listening to things you say / 'Cause you don't mean it anyway, yeah"
Take Care - "We'll change the pace and we'll just go slow / You won't ever have to worry"
Laugh Now Cry Later - "We took a trip, now we on your block and it's like a ghost town, baby"
God's Plan - "Might go down as G-O-D, yeah, wait"
Way 2 Sexy - "Too sexy for your gang / Too sexy for this fame, yeah, yeah

Another year and more hate from this guy. I know my team is not great but what about this guy brain ? Never learn. Mavs you got me on same position last year and i was close to reaching final. You must have some serious issues man !!!
