Believe folks have probably already heard more than they'd like to from me about it, but essentially: Millsap is a top 20 stud, a guy you can build a team around, sabonis and Olynyk will never approach being anything like that, and the chances of either pick being anywhere near that good are remote at best, especially when we already know at least next year's will be late. The longer i play fantasy, the more strongly I realize you simply cannot give up an elite player without getting at least someone close to "stud" level production in return, whatever the format. More so in this format. Especially when that player is the only top talent you have.
The most likely scenario here is that Olynyk and sabonis remain middling players, neither pick turns out to be anything particularly special, and Loren ends up with a team consisting of Klay (who will always be good, never great with our scoring) and a bunch of random young garbage. Loren could then very well decide he's not likely to be competitive for quite some time and therefore quit, and then we're stuck trying to convince someone smart to take on an awful long-term project, which we all know is incredibly difficult; i think Landon is the only success story we've ever had in that department.
He also gave korver and a second, that shouldn't be ignored. Maintain that this should've been vetoed.
