Thunder Trade: Jusuf Nurkic $19.42 Mill (2027) Thunder Pay 9.775 Million this year only Jrue Holiday $10.58 mill (2023) Jae Crowder $4 mill (8 mill from Wiz) (2023)
Warriors release the rights to Nathan Knight and incur a .625 cap hit this year and .3125 next
Warriors accept. It complicates my financials moving forward and always risky trading a stud like Joel, but I do think it helps me have a better shot at a title this year. Good dealing Lor.

I accept. On the surface it seems like a bit of an overpay in production, which I agree, it is. But Joel is Joel and I’m ok with it. Dude is a top 5 player in the league and I would much rather resign him over Jrue. Ultimately I look at this as Kuminga, Nurk, Nwora for Joel and a 1st which I’ll gladly take. Nice dealing my G

Approve. Interesting, I think Lor clearly gets the best player but does send a lot of his depth. From the Warriors perspective, getting 87-80 pts back a game from 3 people really could help Cay in the shorter term. Good deal folks.
I think actually like this for Thunder long term as Joel really is such a game breaking player.

Approve.
Warriors loading up that depth for a title run this season, but the cap looks murky past this season. It's amazing how many times Embiid has been moved in the last 12 months lmao.
It's still not totally clear to me the direction that the Thunder are going. They get another star to pair with Booker, but now have Barnes, Grant, JTA, Melo, + Embiid expiring after next season. Should be an interesting GM task for Lor.
