From Knicks perspective this is a S L A M D U N K. Getting ~40 fpts from Rose/Zubac for a 2025 1st and some shitty 2nds is awesome. I get Zubac & Rose are expiring next off-season, but NYK is in it to win it in '22-'23. Love it.

From Rockets perspective, I don't agree with moving Rose + Zubac this early. I understand it a BIT more for Rose as he is constantly injured and could end up being unmoveable if he doesn't return to form. But moving off Zubac for this price is confusing. Seems like he would've been a great candidate to hold and sell high on at some point during the season with his cheap contract & high production.

Yeah Zubac/Rose worth more than that, but it's not terrible, especially if rockets doesn't want to drop anyone else and felt he needed to clear space for the draft... Can't really sit around waiting for something better in that case. Pass.
