Feel like I probably could've got "more" if I shopped that pick a bit closer to the draft, but I'm happy with this. I love Deni, always have but he really stepped up and showed his potential when Kuz went douche and he got solid minutes; see him as a floor of ~25fppg with a settled role in a year or two, with good upside and he's still only 21... I'll take that over a ? mid-lotto pick in what I see as a weak draft class all day. Plus there was no way I was gonna keep Boucher with his age and consistency issues and my shitty FA situation, though he could have a huge year for wars depending where he ends up. Approve. 9 for Deni seems fair and Boucher isn’t that valuable for it to tip the deal insanely in GSWs direction imo. I do feel like Spurs could’ve probably done better, but he’s not on discord so he can’t put in the kind of work sellin the pick that Caleb can.

I dont know how Chris didn't put protections on this. 20% chance this pick ends up in the top 4. Not a Deni guy and you have to pay him 15 million in two years. Why add Boucher? Doesn't make sense. Not vetoable, but man, just wait until the lotto or protect it.

Don't have a problem dealing a late lotto pick for Deni. That's where I'd put his value about in this class. Him being on the Wizards is also just a crappy situation. KP is there now, Beal is most likely back, and you've got Kuzma there too. Rui is still around, KCP, etc. Definitely should've waited a day to see where that pick is for sure. That goes top 4 and you've just massively fucked up.
