Mavs Trade: Rokas Jokubaitis INTL Santi Aldama 1.6 1.68 3.03 NYK 2022 1 (14) MIA 2022 1 (18)
Heat Trade: Chris Duarte .58 2.47 3.8 (75% paid in 2022) DeAndre Hunter 2.46 (75% paid in 2022)
Gentleman's Agreement: Mavs have right of refusal to trade Cle 2022 1 (23) and BKN 2023 1 for NYK 2022 1 (14) if pre-agreed player is available
I accept. Need to consolidate. Hate to sell low on Santi. He'll be a very useful asset here but I am on a time crunch. Rokas is a stud too.
Love to get two 20fppg ish guys back for 3 mil total. Can't beat that cost/$ wise for reliable and young depth with upside. Good dealing Sanjul

Approve.
Tough pill to swallow for Sanj--Hunter just hasn't looked the same since the injuries. Getting a couple of mid-firsts + sorting out his RFA situation for next off-season makes me think that there's a few more moves to be made here.
From Mavs perspective this move makes a ton of sense. Doesn't have the roster space to make those draft picks + improves his lack of quality depth. If any of his young guys actually realize their potential next season, Kyle can make some serious noise in the title chase.

Really interesting trade that can definitely work out for both if Sanjul hits or uses the firsts in other deals. I’m relatively high on both Duarte and Hunter so as a contender I’d do this in a heart beat.
However, Hunter does carry plenty of injury concerns and Duarte still has to compete with Halli, Brogdon, and Hield at the toughest position to produce. There are plenty of pathways to Sanjul improving my long term from this.
Gonna be fun to look back on a couple years, nice trade guys.

APV, never been on the Hunter train. Ever since that 1 two week stretch where he didn't miss last year everyone been danish backhanding em. I do recognize he could be a solid starter irl, but not sure how much fantasy success he has.
Not a bad deal at all though when you consider the cap/depth issue Kyle had.

Approve, won't know how this turns out for a few years but I'd put my money on heat winning.
