Toronto trades:
Terence Davis (7.85 million / 5 years), Toronto covering 6 million this season Hamidou Diallo (9.19 million / 5 years), Toronto covering 2 million this season
Clippers trade:
2024 Clippers 1st Josh Jackson (3.3 million / 5 years) Luka Samanic (2.96 million, 4.56 million, RFA)
I accept. I spent a first to get Hamidou before RFA and I was disappointed in how high someone bid, but had to match it. He's a great player just not getting respect with his minutes right now. Same thing with Davis, he's a guy that can thrive if given minutes. High potential but I am able to shed some salary and bring in a few more cost effective players.

I like Diallo and Davis.
Mr. Perkins! Talking with you sir is always fun. Good Luck out there. Take care.
EDIT. The cap will be redistributed as 5.88 on Davis and 2.12 on Diallo

I don't totally understand this move for the Raptors. Davis (24 yrs old) & Diallo (23) are solid depth pieces that both play for rebuilding teams IRL and should get considerable run in the 2nd half of the season. With $25m+ in cap space this upcoming Summer, I don't see it as necessary to move off of their (relatively cheap & cost-controlled) salaries before you fully know what they will be as a player.
With that being said, Samanic is an intriguing prospect that could pay dividends for you down the road & who knows what that Clippers 2024 1st will look like.
I really like this move for LAC. Samancic's re-sign is the same off-season as Keldon and Reddish, so it makes sense to get value for him prior to getting into a pinch next season. Diallo and Davis are two nice young pieces to add to the stockpile for Remy.
Lastly, Josh Jackson is a sack of potatoes and could very well find himself playing overseas after his current deal IRL wraps this year.

I like this deal a little bit more for Remy and the Clippers. While neither Davis or Hami are special prospects, but remain relatively young with some upside. The first is one from one of the best run organizations here and 2 years away. Idk just feel like TD and Hami would have both been worth holding, but it's not a terrible deal by any means.
