Knicks Trade:
PG Anfernee Simons, POR 3.94 RFA PF Amir Coffey, LAC 0.25 0.25 0.25 0.25 0.25 UFA PG Ty Jerome, OKC 2.41 4.22 RFA
Raptors trade:
PG Cole Anthony, ORL 3.45 3.61 5.54 RFA SF Joe Ingles, UTA 12.25 12.25 12.25 UFA
I accept. This one really hurts. My baby Ant Simons all grown up finally! There was no chance I could've resigned both him and Bridges after the way he's performing now. If he's going to anyone I'm glad it's to Perk, he's going to be insanely good. I've always loved me some Cole Ant tho! Excited for the future.

I accept the trade, I only do this for the Simons hype train. Cole Anthony is a true baller I just don't know what Orlando will put around him and if that will influence his numbers. I like what I see from Simons as far as shooting and playmaking as a pick and roll guy. Hoping Ty Jerome gets out of the OKC tankathon roster. Good dealing Sood!

Approve.
Perk taking a massive bet on Simons sustaining this recent successful stretch he's had without Dame, CJ and Powell in the lineup for Portland. The talent is definitely there...hopefully he can sign an offer sheet IRL this off-season with a team that'll give him the usage necessary to be successful long-term in our league.
Shedding that Ingles contract is nice for Perk as well.
Overall, I'm a bit surprised that Perk moved Cole at this point in the year after his average has dipped some. Still on his rookie deal for 2 more seasons past this current one. The backcourt in Orlando is a bit clustered and things could become murky for Cole at some point down the road, though.
Another youngin' for Soody! Is Cole renting an AirBNB or is he there for the long haul?

Super fun trade. I think most would probably take Anfernee at this point but Cole has a TON of talent as well and I think the extra two years of control make him the slightly better piece in here. But regardless Perk gets off Ingles gets Coffey, and it’s not like Anfernee at 14 mill or so isn’t a great price so I get that perspective as well. Overall great deal and interested to see how this fares for both teams moving forward.

Wow massive deal. Anfrees production will be highly tied to the guys that Portland keeps infront of him. If they turn the keys over to him dealing Lilard it will be quite a fun train to ride for Portland. Cole is also interesting. Great contract, he’s been balling this year but how much of that will change as Orlando starts to move towards building more of a competitive roster? If Cole can keep his role I like that side slightly better.

Approve, not much to add to the other reviewers. This trade will be interesting to look back on.
