PF Paul Reed 1.52 1.78 RFA
2023 Toronto 2nd round pick
2023 Atlanta 2nd round pick
Sacramento Trades:
C Ivica Zubac: 3 3 UFA
Rockets accept. Needed to make some roster spots for the incoming draft class, and getting someone like Zubac who I can either keep or flip is nice.

I accept. While I did get a few other offers for Zubac, I felt Poku had the highest upside of any of the other offers I got. I loved Poku in the draft and havent given up on him yet. Given I have no picks to improve my team the next two years, I really need to go upside hunting. In addition, Reed was G League MVP last year, so he may have some upside as well. And then I recoup two second rounders in a draft where I currently have no picks at all.

Approve. I like the upside of Zub more but Kings really needs the overhaul. Not bad from either side.

Approve. Bagel's first trade! I think he does really well to get some high upside players with potential. I actually like Bball Paul more than poku and I think he is going to be a producer in this league at some point. On the flip side, Zubac is solid and I know Free loves the clippers so this is a Win-Win.

The Toronto 2nd has potential to be decent & Kings needed to restock the draft pick cabinet, so I get it. Really like the consolidation move by Rockets here--Zubac has shown to be a reliable fantasy big when he gets minutes and the contract is solid.
I'll reiterate what Sood said about Paul Reed....watch out if that man ever gets minutes. Poku is meh. Nice work boys.

Approve, I regret dropping Zubac in free agency not too long ago so this makes me feel even worse but it's a good trade with the understanding that roster spots needed to open up.
