REAL LIFE...not for this league or fantasy in general
the Center position is now back on the rise after seemingly disappearing for about 8-10 years after the Big Ben's and Dikembe's and Shaq's and Yao's all died out, now it's looking like we may be entering a 2nd Golden Age of the big men like back in the 90s...so who would you take right now, this season to compete with as your center?

You know you're going to have some in the Joel Embiid hype- and to this point he's proved to be an elite prospect- extremely athletic, jump shot, solid FT shooter, rim protector, great passer, etc. but with a short sample size you can't go there yet.
I'll get back to this topic when I look a little deeper..I have in mind who I would say though, trying to keep biased out of the equation.

i got Boogie slightly ahead of AD being the truest center of the group.

i'm gonna go against the grain and take Hassan Whiteside. I really wanted to take DeAndre but his free throws at the end of games kill you, Whiteside is a respectable ft shooter.
AD is more of a power forward
i love DeMarcus but i'd rather have a lob catching beast who catches shots in mid air with one hand
KAT, Embiid, Porzingis all join AD as incredibly good young prospects who will one day probably be better than DMC, DJ, Whiteside or even Gasol ever were. also very good prospect slightly a tier below is like Myles Turner...i wouldn't call him "elite" like the other guys mentioned but he's got a very realistic chance of getting into an all star game or two before his career is over if he stays healthy and develops

I'd go AD, but Whiteside is a close 2nd. When Boogie's attitude is right he could be the best tho.

I say Towns. And on top of that these are most certainly not 90s centers if they can pull from the 3 point line. But big men becoming relevant is Perk's biggest dream.

i don't see how anyone could take Towns over Anthony Davis. If you're going with that *style* of big man then Anthony Davis is the only answer. I love Towns but he is 100% NOT on Anthony Davis's level at all.
I do think Towns at age 20 is better than AD but Davis is clearly the better player at this time...dude is averaging 32 pts and 11 rebs

#1, he should really be a center, so I did consider the whole AD as a PF thing. But I still truly believe Towns is better. I love watching him score. It is honestly so close in my book though, they are both elite talent.

DeAndre is a liability on offense so he shouldn't even be listed here when the other teams strategy late in games is to foul you and only you. You have no business on this list.
I won't fault the Whiteside votes. Dude is raw as fuck. Talent wise I'm taking Boogie and AD all day though

It feels like almost everyday i see a new Towns highlight and I am trying to perfect it the next day in the gym. There is a certain poise and smoothness in his game that just reminds me of the golden era of centers and for that reasonI vote KAT. Not gonna disagree tho I think Davis is better right now but what Towns is doing for the league atm i think its incomparable.

Kevin the golden era of centers had centers that played nothing like Towns. Anyways if we're considering Davis a center he is the clear #1, followed closely by Towns, Boogie then Hassan

i go KAT too
I dont want someone who has limited range or is a reliability at the FT line- eliminates howard, whiteside, and jordan
want some rim protection, a great passer, proven inside/out game, and i love his attitude
give him the edge over gasol because of age, injury history
I love cousins game but his young career hasn't translated to wins yet-I dont want simply a stat stuffer. KAT still needs to prove this- but ill give that a few years.

You people saying KAT are prolly the ones who would start a franchise with him right now over LeBron James.
Centers are not gonna win you games night in and night out. It's a guards league put Boogie with a capable back court and it's on.
Yall lost in the youth movement shit.

Yo TJ this is a conversation about centers, idgaf if it's a guards league let's keep it to the centers. Out of that above list, if you don't think Towns is at least a lock for that top 3, I'm not sure what to think. And if you want to go vote on who the best SF is or SG or who has the largest dick go start another thread.

So how bout you shut that sweet cocksucker of yours and go improve your shit show of a team. Until then pipe it you fat fucking twat.

"centers are not going to win you games night in and night out" Ok but let's talk about who we think the best center in the league is.
And maybe I will go make some trades, that's the beauty of having fucking cap space you sperm receptacle.
