Down with COVID right now so I've got time on my hands.
1. Detroit Pistons - Cade Cunningham | SF | Oklahoma State | Detroit Pistons No brainer pick as Cade should be an excellent scorer in our league's scoring format. He'll contribute in all categories as the primary ball handler for Detroit. Cade joins Kawhi, Mikal Bridges, and Oubre on a Detroit team that continues to improve. Now if only they still had Zach Lavine...
2. San Antonio Spurs - Evan Mobley | PF | USC | Cleveland Cavaliers Was anyone surprised by this pick? Mobley is literally the perfect "Chris" player despite going to a team that already has Jarrett Allen in real life. There was some chatter that Chris was less than thrilled about Mobley's landing spot in real life, but Mobley goes to San Antonio anyway. If all goes well, Chris just got his own version of Anthony Davis/Chris Bosh locked in for the next 4+ years.
3. Houston Rockets - Jalen Green | SG | Ignite | Houston Rockets Free adds Green to a squad that already has Killian Hayes, Zach Lavine, Josh Hart, and NAW. The guard talent on this squad is starting to look very nice. Still TBD on how Green and KPJ will fit together in real life, but I'm sure they will figure out a way to make it work. Free has done a really nice job of turning this team around and I wouldn't be surprised to see the Rockets back in the playoffs sooner rather than later.
