I accept
7:31 PST Update
I wanted to let the whirlwind of today finish before I did this. But this is a really sad day in warriors history. We lose a couple of our favorites. I want you two to know that I didn’t want this to happen, but when a monster like Joel shows up at your door. You gotta take it. I think KP is good for a Pg type bounce back year. 35-36ish. I will stand on the hill of Baze eventually being a 30 FPG guy. I just am not sure if that’s next year. Good dealing chuck and Kyle, the negotiations besides the end were fun af. Griff show them what a team of solid depth can do next year #thejsoodmodel

Veto.
I have had a couple of days to think on this trade actually as I was able to get some insiders to tell me it earlier. This isn't a rushed decision but I can't approve this trade from the laker's end. I can't make any sense of how this makes any sense for the lakers. I get he needs to cut cap but trading away a top-end player and just not getting enough back just does not sit right with me. Sorry.

Ugh, this is disgusting for lakers. The fact he didnt even give us a reason as to doing this is puzzling. Im just at a loss of words. Looking at the deal right now sure he gets good production and depth, cant deny that. But like cmon bro you are trading a top 3 MVP candidate that avg what like 45? Could definitely get some more exciting depth. Nance is 17 mil? Lol. Gotta resign sexton next year. If movley goes to the cavs… idk man. Barnes isnt gonna be better than last year, only downhill from here. Im just confused. Not as bad as lavine for 2 firsts tho

Yeah I don't get this for Lakers, at all, don't much like it for mavs either. Wars and bulls just viking pillage level rape here, especially wars... I can't say it's egregious enough to veto, however, so though it turns my stomach I suppose I'll pass

Accept. I know pretty much everyone has shitted on this trade thus far, but I outlined my thought process below. Let's wait till the season plays out to judge this trade.
- Based on my current roster construction, I knew a title was going to be tough next year based on my salary/contracts. So getting rid of Embiid was my way to becoming more flexible moving forward. - Prior to this trade I had 3MM in cap to sign 3 players. By trading away Embiid I was able to get 3 players that can make an impact next year while having value if I want to take my team in a different direction. - I know I may be on an island, but I like Sexton as a player. He is still only 22 years old and will continue to develop as a player. Nance and Barnes offer stable production moving forward, which was not the case last year with some players on my team. - Embiid's health issues scared me as I believe he will regress in terms of health over time.

Pass.
This is brutal for lakers. Like brutal brutal brutal. Dealing a star for mediocre depth has never been a recipe for success in this league. It’d be one thing if he’s cutting cap, but he’s not. Dude now has (3) FA’s next year and doesn’t have his pick. Not quite sure what he’s doing, and has made some iffy trades in the past.
This dude is getting Larry Nance at $18M for 3 years. Gonna resign Sexton at probably $16M. Then also has Barnes at another $12M. I don’t like taking a shot on a one dimensional PG in this league that punishes high volume shooters. $46M next year for these 3 versus $22M Embiid. Go get a 1st next time.
I’m all for running your team the way you want to, so I can’t veto this one, but be better.
