#1 Minnesota Timberwolves (26-2-1) VS. #4 Golden State Warriors (21-8)
Here we go with a matchup between the 2 favorites out West. Big props to both of these fellas guiding their squads, old head in GSW doing his thang and the new fiery ginger in Minny learning faster than most vet GM's.
Drew's Wolves are of course missing AD. Everyone knows he's out this week and it's unfortunate but this team has been without AD for most of the season so this ain't new. Randle has been a monster operating as Thibs' #1 option and eating all the minutes he can get. Big 4 game week for Julius so look for him to lead the way as he has the entire season. 40 per on deck. The next piece here is Jaylen Brown, who enjoyed a red hot start to the year. He was hitting like 70-80% of his mid range jumpers and throwing up 36-35 per I believe. He's settled in around 32 and should be set for a solid 3 game week. Brog's been great at 32 per, TYRESE HALI has been the 2nd best rook of the season and has a 4 game week. If Tyrese drops a huge game, this could be tough for Caleb. Another key for Wolves to grab the dub is Wendell Carter Jr. Drew sent Spida for this guy and while the potential will forever be there, the question will always be his health and if his coach will give him 30+ minutes. If WCJ can get loose for a big game or two, yeeeesh. He'll be a key contributor down the stretch. This team is just built awesome, stars and depth. Shroder is at the head of every Laker's possession currently, Grayson Allen has actually been hooping the last couple weeks, and there's some other minor pieces on the squad. Best of the luck to Drew guy.
Caleb's Warriors are special IMO. Something about this team, I respect it OG. Jimmy Butler is having the season of his life, dude's never averaged more than 37 fppg and here he is at 42. Super nice buy for Caleb, the Heat were reeling when Butler was out earlier in the year, I figure Caleb thought Jimmy would pop as the #1 option and decided to sell high on Boucher/OG and get his guy, good see. Jimmy has a 4 game week but a back to back. Jimmy tough as nails so I wouldn't except him to sit but ya can't rule anything out this season. If Jimmy can outproduce Randle, Caleb gotta like his odds. Steph Curry. Do I like him? Not really.... is he a stud who is fun as hell to watch when he's not playin' LeBron? Yeah. 4 game week for Chef this week, 1 back to back, look for this teams leader to step up and have some signature games, Dubs are fighting for the playoffs IRL. Porzingis has been great for Caleb, 35 per, can't ask for much more. The Mavs have a 4 game week but Unicorn is out Monday. Shit, 3 games of Zinger is better than 4-5 of 90% of players. The boy Fox got 4 games this week and Sacramento's wanting a playoff spot. If he can go off for a 50 or 2, sheesh, Caleb is sitting pretty. Kemba Walker has been solid depth as a 26-27 per game guy all year, 3 games for him this week. The depth on this team is strong as ever. DFS, Bojan, who I don't think has been very good this yr, but he's 18 per, Seth, whose cooled off, but at this point it only takes a big game or 2 and he could pop off. Great moves made throughout the year Caleb, you truly have built your best team yet, GOOD LUCK.
I'll take Caleb to bring home the bacon.
