2020 Basketball Dynasty 26 Power Rankings - Week 11
Sorry I've been away for so long. Been spending a lot of time on NBA Topshot, but we back and better than ever.
1. Milwaukee Bucks (17-3-1) - Came off a tough loss to the Heat in week 9 to drop almost 1000 points in week 10. Add that to a huge win over the Warriors in week 11 and you have to think this team is going to make a deep playoff run if healthy. The biggest question is the ever present "rookie wall" and whether or not Lamelo will hit it in the second half of the year.
2. New Orleans Pelicans (18-3) - Just been bulldozing teams recently. Why does Melli have a spot on this team?
3. Golden State Warriors (15-6) - A couple hiccups against Cleveland and Milwaukee, but you look at this roster and it is primed for a deep playoff push.
4. Boston Celtics (15-6) - This team may not play well every week, but they have the ability to blow up any given week. This makes them one of the most dangerous teams heading into the playoffs.
5. Miami Heat (16-5) - 0-2 last week puts a dent in what has been an amazing season thus far. Despite missing multiple key guys for long periods of time, the Heat sit at 16-5 and just need to be healthy going into the playoffs.
6. Cleveland Cavaliers (17-4) - Playing very well right now, going 6-0 the last 3 weeks. However, Thad Young is set to lose some playing time when Markkanen comes back so who will Cleveland add before the trade deadline?
7. Minnesota Timberwolves (18-2-1) - Still winning in the regular season, but all eyes are towards preparing for the playoffs right now. Have to hope the Zeller injury is a non-issue and that WCJ can get a bit more consistent while staying healthy. I still have concerns about AD's playing time even when he returns.
8. Charlotte Hornets (16-5) - McConnell has been an absolute monster recently and Wiseman looks ready to finally start his breakout. Imagine if the Hornets had drafted Lamelo instead?
9. Chicago Bulls (14-7) - Chuck's team is kind of boring, there's not one true stud, but it's deep and is another one of those teams that could beat you in any given week.
10. New York Knicks (16-5) - At this point, you just don't know what you'll get from JJJ this season. However, the Knicks continue to put up huge scoring totals so if JJJ comes back and has improved from last year, this team can really make noise in the playoffs.
11. Los Angeles Lakers (16-5) - This team has played well all year and is set up nice for a top seed come playoff time despite going 3-3 the last 3 weeks.
12. Los Angeles Clippers (16-5) - Been really inconsistent lately battling injuries to guys like Keldon, Reddish, and Mitchell Robinson. Still playing well and like many teams needs to just hope the team stays healthy going into the playoffs.
13. Atlanta Hawks (15-6) - Has been beating up on bad teams and losing to good teams the last 3 weeks. How Harden performs when KD is back is very important.
14. Orlando Magic (12-9) - Man, I actually love this team. Once C Wood is back I think this is one of those sleeper teams that could make some noise in the playoffs.
15. Washington Wizards (12-9) - Honestly don't think this team has a high ceiling as guys like Horford are probably going to trend down going forward. That being said, Octstuff has built a potential playoff team despite a tough start so we gotta respect the grind.
16. Toronto Raptors (10-11) - Rough 0-2 week in week 11, losing to Dallas and New Orleans. In a competitive Eastern conference, there are whispers that Perk is going to start selling pieces if the team can't put more Ws on the board ASAP.
17. Brooklyn Nets (9-12) - Sad to see such a good team go to waste, but it just hasn't been Josh's year. The good news is Levert should be back this year.
18. Dallas Mavericks (8-13) - Storming back into the playoff picture, going 5-1 the last few weeks. Nice work, Kyle.
19. Oklahoma City Thunder (9-12) - Nurk is lurking...we'll see if Loren ends up dealing CP3 this year or sits on his pieces and tries to make a run.
20. Utah Jazz (7-14) - Has cooled off quite a bit and things won't get better soon with Beasley out for a while. Could we see some KPJ action soon
21. Philadelphia 76ers (6-15) - Bagley might not be great in real life, but it's undeniable that his fantasy game is kinda nice.
22. Sacramento Kings (5-16) - Yikes man...the DSJ trade doesn't look great so far and Davie doesn't have his own pick.
23. Portland Trailblazers (5-16) - Looks like Blake has found a home in Brooklyn, but it doesn't seem like that'll do much for him in fantasy. Gotta love the consistency that Coby has shown recently.
24. Phoenix Suns (5-16) - I don't think Tyler knows how to tank!
25. Memphis Grizzlies (3-18) - Team has been playing very well recently, specifically Bruce Brown and DSJ.
26. Houston Rockets (4-17)
27. Denver Nuggets (3-18)
28. San Antonio Spurs (3-18)
29. Detroit Pistons (2-19)
30. Indiana Pacers (2-19) - When will we take a pick from this guy for not starting his players?
