Scoring

Since the start of this league the scoring has been a little different, and i'm honestly okay with that. But i will conceed there are probably ways, to make it more balanced. Guys who aren't even top 50 in standard leagues are top 20 in here, and in general shooting guards are penalized and not as valuable as they are in other leagues.

If we were to change it would be to fanduel's standard scoring. I played fan duel a lot this past year and it really pretty even across the board.

3-pt FG = 3pts
2-pt FG = 2pts
FT = 1pt
Rebound = 1.2pts
Assist = 1.5pts
Block = 2pts
Steal = 2pts
Turnover = -1pt


Obviously we wouldnt change it this year, but would people be open to moving to this eventually?

No. I drafted my team for the old scoring. Fuck shooting guards and fuck fan duel. Draftkings is better.

I have no problems with tweaking the scoring.  Doesn't appear to be to drastic of a change

Don't think you should mess with scoring after teams have drafted and planned for the future based on an announced format.

Based on experience from other keeper leagues, once you go down this path it never stops, even if you do the don't implement any changes until the next season thing. People always end up wanting to change the scoring again, tweak this or that...
