BasketballDynasty26 2019 Opening Night PR's.
Something minor to read before the season. I think some of my opinions on teams/players have changed since my last PR's so I wanted to update this. Hopefully I'll be able to do a PR ranking every week.
30. Utah Jazz.
TJ still rockin at the bottom, Melo not finding a team and being his starting PF is pretty comical. The Jazz open at Denver and will be 0-1.
29. Phoenix Suns .
The Suns move down 2 spots but it's more of me being higher on the Lakers guys. EB also being out hurts this team even more short term. I'm also really drinking some Bamba kool-aid lately so look for him to beast. Suns open with a bye.
28. Los Angeles Lakers.
After watching pre season, I'm liking this team a lot more. Culver looks legit and Coby can put the ball in the bucket and this isn't cats so those rooks are looking real nice for Griff. Chriss also looks rejuvenated in GS. Prince also balled out. Even PJ Washington might start. We got the pre season all stars here man. Lakers start out with a tough game against Memphis.
27. Washington Wizards.
Wiz move down a spot but I'm still liking this team. IT is coming back soon and Jonas is healthy. Health and RJ's development is what will determine how good or bad this team does this year. Wiz gets a tough matchup week one vs. Toronto.
26. Orlando Magic.
Perry moves up a couple spots mainly because of my appreciation for Myles Turner. Isaac looks ready to breakout and Fultz is actually gonna play and contribute. Tatum is still growing and having Kanter/Robert Williams ain't bad. I'm calling a Williams breakout btw. Magic opens against Pacers.
25. Miami Heat.
Heat stays at 25, Giles is hurt and Fox has some minor things. Having Ayton & Bagley is gonna be exciting. Sanjul gets the 6ers week one.
24. Dallas Mavericks.
Keeping Royce at 24 as well, just no depth on this team. Russell has looked comfortable in GS so that’s a plus. LeBron is gonna have to be super man for this squad. Royce gets Remy week one.
23. Charlotte Hornets.
Keeping Keenana and his Hornets at 23. I don’t know, Gasol is gonna rest a lot, Collins is hurt all the time it seems and Zo/Ingram aren’t exactly durable either. Health is big for this team. Hornets get the Celtics to begin the year.
22. Philadelphia 76ers.
6ers move down mainly because I’m higher on Nets right now and I think Rondo will be glued to the bench aka seeing no minutes soon enough. Who knows though KAT could be the 8th seed just by himself. Philly plays Miami week one.
21. Detroit Pistons.
Merv’s team drops a spot, Bojan hasn’t looked very good in Utah so far but hey it’s the pre-season. LaVine, Leonard, and KLove are all currently healthy though so this team will be solid as long as that’s a thing. Load Management dude is gonna be annoying though. Merv gets the Cavs week one should be a good one.
20. Houston Rockets.
Tony moves up a spot based on Alexander-Walker playing lights out and he better get mins in Nola. Rest of the squad is healthy too, should be an all-around solid team. As long as Lowry is healthy, watch out. Week one against the Pels might be a lil tough though. Anything can happen though.
19. Indiana Pacers.
Pacers moved down a spot, again the Boogie injury sucks but there’s a lot to still be excited for. I’m sure Jon has some moves up his sleeve too, hopefully he can get back to the playoffs. Pace opens with a solid matchup against Magic this week.
18. San Antonio Spurs.
Chris and them Spurs drop a spot, Payne got cut, PG is out for week one (and possibly more), and Batum isn’t starting I believe. This is gonna be an interesting team, could be playoffs, could be the bottom of the barrel again. Chris gets Caleb week one.
17. Brooklyn Nets.
Nets moves up and I believe I missed ranked this team earlier. Yeah no Durant but Thybulle looks legit for fantasy, Collins is ready to breakout, even Simons could make some noise. Josh gets an interesting matchup against Hawks week one.
16. Portland Trail Blazers.
Giggsy stays at 16, everyone is healthy and this team looks poised to make some noise. Mann has looked solid in the pre season as well. Giggsy gets the Thunder in week one.
15. Los Angeles Clippers.
Remy is staying put, he’s got Richaun Holmes by the way motherfuckers hit him up. Interesting matchup with Royce this week as well.
14. Memphis Grizzlies.
In the words of Luke himself, “my team doesn’t look that bad”. Kuzma and WCS being hurt isn’t gonna help short term but we’ll see. Grizz gets a matchup with Lakers week one.
13. Oklahoma City Thunder.
Loren stays put, Saboner got paid and Kyrie is currently healthy so watch out. Loren vs. Giggsy in week one for a throwback match.
12. Cleveland Cavaliers.
Cavs stays put just because MRob is questionable. Sad. Hopefully he plays week one. A matchup worth watching against Pistons week one awaits.
11. Atlanta Hawks.
Trey drops a spot because he still has 3 open roster spots. Word on the street, Trey Trey or Treyana or Treyesha is back to make some moves. Hawks plays Nets week one.
10. Boston Celtics.
BMan moves into the top because SGA is sexy but BMan is ugly. Whornets vs. Celtics week one.
9. Sacramento Kings.
Davie moves down a spot but could be on the rise if Noel finds himself with a starting job pending OKC dumping Adams. Kings vs. Wolves week one.
8. Golden State Warriors.
Caleb moves down, BG is hurt and this team is lacking depth. Interesting matchup against Chris and his Spurs week one.
7. Denver Nuggets.
Kevi moves 2 spots, everyone’s healthy and Herro is legit as fuck. Go Kevo. Basically has a bye this week against the GLeague Jazz.
6. Minnesota TimberWolves.
Zion is hurt
. Everyone is sad for that one, also WCS is so injury prone so he moves down a spot. Hopefully this team gets healthy, they could be such a force. Doesn’t get easier with a game against Kings this week.
5. Chicago Bulls.
I move up a spot but I looked at my team and got sad I’m not as good as last season. Melli should get some extra burn with Zion out though and hopefully Caruso plays ahead of Rondo u fuck Vogel. I get a matchup with my son aka Jacoby week one.
4. Toronto Raptors.
Perk stays at 4 and is rolling into week one completely healthy. Sato is also starting, so W. He gets Wiz week one.
3. New York Knicks.
Knicks moved down a spot, but it’s just cuz Jacoby moved up. Everyones healthy and
primed for a huge season. Tyler sadly has a bye week one.
2. Milwaukee Bucks.
He’s looking pretty after Dwight signed in LA. Moves up a spot but here’s a video of me and Jacoby after I beat him this week. (I’m coach Boone)
1.New Orleans Pelicans.
Yeah. Healthy and gets Rockets week one. Good Luck, Tony.
