2 topics I wouldn’t mind having disscussion on.
First one is roster size, currently we have 13 active roster spot 15 including G-League contracts. If we expand the rosters to 15 it follows the NBA, the league we are copying and I don’t see any real down side. Rebuilding teams have more chances at low production high upside guys. Contenders also can add depths.
Last season when rookies weren’t signed to a roster and other GM’s tried to sign them once the season had started they were told the other team owned there rights. I think there should be a cut off date and if you haven’t signed your draftees they become UFA’s?

Currently we have 12 roster slots, the IR slot makes 13 but only if the player is injured. Knowing which teams have which players certainly gets tricky, we'll try to keep better track of in-season moves better but the biggest factor is the draft. All the 2nd round guys NEED to be put on the excel rosters, even if it's an international slot, but if international, a specific amount of years (and money) needs to be assigned. I am opposed to increasing active roster because I think the most active owners will continue to stack their teams with good players on the cheap, but that's just my opinion. What say the group?

Roster size is perfect as is. People wanting to sign seemingly unowned rookies - or anyone who hasn't met the games played minimum, really - should check the draft threads before trying (hopefully the front page list will get completed this year), that's a far more reasonable expectation than combing through all thirty Excel sheets.
