It's time to change rebound scoring

Mediocre big men are more valuable than they should be in this league. It's time for this to change. I propose that rebounds be adjusted from 1.5 to 1 point per rebound. I understand that owners have constructed their rosters with this in mind and because of that this change would not go into effect until the 2026/2027 season (when all current contracts will be off the books), but beginning that season we will adjust rebounds for 3 years until they are only worth 1 point.

2026/27 season: 1.33 fpts/reb
2027/28 season: 1.17 fpts/reb
2028/29 season and beyond: 1 fpt/reb
