Four years in the NBA now, definitely significant sample size, 260 games played of a possible 332... that's less than 80%. Plus, he has a massive contract, $22M this year and only going up. You really want to spend 1/3 of your total cap space (and your only good pick) on someone who's likely to leave you high and dry when the playoffs come?
He's a stud when he does play, and if he can stay healthy it's a decent pick, but there were definitely better options on the table. Typical TJ, just look at the name and surface numbers then act all superior.

Typical chris looking way to deep into something that's right in front of you. Who cares about 22M when he's hands down the best player in fantasy. You will save that money later as you mentioned your next picks won't be til after 60. I can understand the Karl Anthony Towns thing I guess cuz that dudes got skills. James harden is way out there and caleb is just a homer.
My point is why people trying to win 5 years from now? Everyone gets caught up in the dynasty concept. Just fucking win. I'd think a long time real life spurs fan would understand that. But just like any other time in bball 25 I will be proven right on the court when I March on to this leagues first championship

hes far from hating. He's explaining why its conceivable that AD is still available at 4 to a condescending TJ. Couldn't have said it better myself by the way Chris.

Don't hate on the pick mates. Ad is a monster and can easily improve. thanks wars, but TBH i was hating a little bit. you can't hate too much on an AD pick because he's clear potential #1 overall level talent and he's still so young, but... he finished 24th overall last year. 24th. can't look back further than that, but i'd bet good money he finished even lower in the 3 years prior. my point was that i think it's foolish to spend that kind of money and pick on a guy who has consistently been unable to stay healthy enough to be a top contributor. more than that, though, my point was that TJ is an undeservedly arrogant owner who casually makes definitive statements without any factual basis for doing so. your win in 25 was a fluke, you were allowed to rape trade after trade because you were mortgaging away your team's future and the TC system at that time was flawed. proof is in the pudding, which is that you immediately quit and refused to return for the next season after winning the championship... your team went on to suck major donkey ass (unsurprisingly), if you're interested, but then i suspect you knew that would happen and that's why you quit. like a bitch.

Lol that blazers team I created went to two str8 finals so it was far from a one and done. Chris I remember having these same debates about players like illyasova who if you remember was pure gold in your eyes you were proven wrong on that subject and I don't remember at any point you taking the cavs to even close to a title in an eastern conference that was weaker than the real life conference today. I ran through a western conference where round one you were playing a better team then the one seed in the east for two str8 seasons before I left.

Who cares about 22M when he's hands down the best player in fantasy. at this point i would like to reiterate that AD, despite being an undisputed juggernaut in per-minute production, in the end finished 24th last year. so.... not sure how you can make such a claim.

you lose credibility when you say someone is "hands down" the best at something when almost everyone disagrees

Obviously it works for me a hell of lot better than sitting on my thumbs like you.

That lasted about a month before the league sorta went to the deep end. I mean that was a fucking disaster I attempted to take over which I did improve it

Obviously it works for me a hell of lot better than sitting on my thumbs like you. actually, you quit, and on the way out you deleted your roster and did everything you could to try to fuck with the league (again, like a bitch), therefore you were not allowed back in until there was a poll put up and people who voted not to let you back in were shamed for being whiners. incidentally, you were only allowed back in because you agreed to take the worst team in the league, a team we simply could not find an owner for. shall i go dig up all the old dynasty 25 posts to prove it? it matters because you were allowed to simply take advantage of new and/or less knowledgeable owners, thereby increasing the disparity in the league, and also because you did it with the obvious goal of gunning for a championship with a "fuck the future" attitude, which is also very bad for the future of the league because in the end you're creating another shit team.

TJ you quit. You threw a massive bitch fit and said you quit. Even before you quit you were making things as hard as possible for the league and just being a dick. Kept trying sneak Collin back in and just were an awful owner

In TJs defense, championship banners fly forever. TJ won a championship by any means necessary. Can't hate on that even if I may have been raped in one of those trades. Haha
